Re: Rayman Origins

Some new (to me at least, you folks might already know) info about the Vita version of RO was revealed by the guys from Destructoid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpFBApyDatI&feature=g-u (towards the end of the video). The most noteworthy bit for me is the feature that will allow players to race ag...

Re: Rayman Origins

Heh...I give an opinion and it's ripped to shreds. Next time I'll bite my tongue and love the game blindly. There's no need to be like that. When you post strong opinions, you can't be surprised if people respond with their own ;) It's one thing to have a strong counter opinion and another to say "...

Re: Rayman Origins

They actually had some huge banner ads on Youtube this week, and I've seen smaller ads on a handful of other sites too. Hopefully the sales kick up A) Over Christmas, and B) Once the 3DS and Vita versions drop (especially since the Vita and 3DS will have fairly small libraries at launch).

Re: Rayman Origins

$60 IS too much for this game. While there are some challenging levels, it doesn't take long to beat if you have the time to sit down for it. I beat it within 3 days (not in a row) of renting it from Gamefly and collected all but 1 electoon cage without use of a guide (can't locate the first one in...

You'd think if he was going to lie about something he'd pick something a little less easy to disprove.

Re: Rayman Origins

Good news for folks with the Pirate's Treasure glitch - sometimes it solves itself! I just gave it another shot after unlocking all 9 of the other teeth, and it worked just fine this time. It took about 6 goes to get right to the end of the level, and the first time I did it all unfolded correctly. ...

Re: Rayman Origins

That's lucky. Not too easy to see him from VERY far away though. Ain't that the truth. My regular sitting position is about 4m back from my TV, but I'm finding myself about 1m away (on a beanbag) during most of my Rayman Origins playtime :D I also have to put my hand up as one of the foolish people...

Re: Rayman Origins

Boxing Gloves are extremely rare items, they only appear on the journey of the four kings and on the moody clouds (in other words, the second half of the game), in certain areas. They're kind of awesome, because they don't bubblize, they KILL, and can reach distant areas than even a charged fist can...

Re: Rayman Origins

This is completely unrelated to the ongoing conversation, but how common are the blue boxing-gloves? I'm about halfway through the second Gourmand Land area (the one that opens up after completing Mystique Pique) and I've only just found one for the first time.

Re: Rayman Origins

Is the "glitch" the part where you wall jump those poles and then they fall down? I had a bit of trouble on that too but I thought it was because I was on the left pole when it fell or I jumped way too high. So after that I just made sure I was heading to the right side when the pole fell and I was...

Re: Rayman Origins

I had the glitch, but I still beat it after many many many many tries. Have you tried beating it with just regular Rayman? Because that's how I beat it. Original Rayman was the first character I played that area as, and I totaled maybe 15 or 20 attempts by the time I gave up. I've tried a few other...

Re: Rayman Origins

I hope so. I wonder where one would be able to get that patch from? PSStore/Xboxlive, I'd assume, but what of Wii? If there's a patch available for a PS3 game, the console will alert you every time you put the game disc in. I'm guessing the 360 has a similar setup. I've heard that a few wii games h...

Spanex wrote:Not just challenging.. To me, it's glitched and I can't beat it.

Doesn't that mean I will never reach LotLD?
If it truly is a glitch (and I'm assuming it is) there will probably be a patch sooner or later.

Re: Rayman Origins

Are you kidding, right? Homosexuality is not wrong, dude. I mean, I'm not gay, but a friend of mine is and I think he's a normal guy as anyone else. Has anyone considered that electoons may simply be asexual as they're not "creatures" at all but "stuff"? pretty much like lums, remember that everyth...

Re: Rayman Origins

The Electoons are female. I think the hearts they show in Rayman 1, and the pitched voices in Rayman Origins are explicit enough. Maybe they're gay... everything is possible in a land populated by magic boobies, crotch-moving heroes and pole-dancing magicians. Pervert. Exactly! Homosexuality is a s...
