Good catch! They probably just repurposed the Cave of Bad Dreams name for that new challenge mode they announced. Which just goes right back to what Hunchman was saying about the lore. They are just slapping recognizable names onto a spiral map for nostalgia ...

The map is beautiful, even it doesn't make a lot of sense.

I had to vote for the visual glow-up. Getting those uncompressed UbiArt textures in 4K is going to look incredible.

Though bringing back the Vita exclusive relics is a very close second! It is just great to finally have a true definitive edition of this game.

Now that we have seen the actual footage, I have to say my feelings are still pretty mixed.

I originally said I was completely on board with them adding a real story to try and stitch this franchise's messy lore back together. But looking at how inconsistent this new map is with the previous games ...

So they made a new map for the game... of course it doesn't add up with the others LOL.

Well, it definitely fits the new logo! At this rate, the "new content" is just going to be Rayman growing a tail and Murfy being replaced by Sparx the dragonfly.

That's a completely new Rayman logo. Maybe they plan to use it for Rayman 4 as well? A fresh logo design usually implies they are planning a wider reboot of the franchise.
