I love the smug, scheming expression of one on the bottom left with the folded arms!!

To be fair, I don't even use Discord myself. I have always preferred the traditional forum layout for keeping track of discussions anyway, so I will just be sticking around here with you guys.

My most esteemed DinksMacglumpher, while the sheer elegance of your one-word exclamation has left us all in awe, the mods around here might uncharitably classify such brevity as spam.
I kindly invite you to grace our humble forum with a slightly more robust discourse! To get the ...

Re: Rayman 1 Damageless safe strats
Actually pulling off a Max% no-hit run is insane. Memorizing the game just to beat it damageless is one thing, but going out of your way to collect all the cages and extras without taking a single hit in a game that actively wants you dead on every screen? I cannot even fathom the patience required ...

Re: When did you first visit RPC?
It is really interesting reading how everyone else found their way here!
For me, my first actual visit to RPC was probably over a decade ago as a guest. It was right around the time Rayman Origins was first announced. I was so incredibly hyped to see Rayman returning to his 2D roots that I scoured ...

Re: Which Rayman game keeps bringing you back?
I am 100% with MakaryGlobsky and Giant Chicken on this one: it is absolutely Rayman Origins for me.
While I know Legends has its fans (and RayGamer makes some solid points about its convenience), Origins is the game I constantly find myself replaying. There is just something about its atmosphere ...

Re: Rayman Legends Retold
RayGamer makes some really fair points here. The series definitely always had human tropes and pop culture references, even going all the way back to Rayman 1 with characters like Space Mama and the Hunters.
But with Legends, things like the generic medieval castles and Greek ruins are just treated ...

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
I hate to be so negative, but I am honestly furious about the recent updates regarding the board game. Seeing how FLYOS is handling things right now makes me seriously regret backing this project. I ended up paying roughly 340 USD for the whole package including VAT and delivery, and right now it ...

Re: Rayman Legends Retold
I think it's the Cave of Trials.
I think you are right about this. If you look at the new map, the Cave of Bad Dreams is placed right next to the Marshes of Awakening, which is exactly where the entrance was back in Rayman 2. So if the new Cave of Trials mode is literally just taking place ...

Re: Rayman Legends Retold
Now that we've finally seen it in motion, I have to say I'm still feeling pretty torn on the whole thing.
I am still really struggling with these character designs. Seeing it in action didn't help. Rayman's separated eyes just look bizarre to me, and I am totally with Steo and icesmile on Betilla ...

Re: Rayman remake rumor - confirmed by Ubisoft!
Okay, I'll admit the environments in these screenshots look absolutely gorgeous. The lighting in that forest cave shot is stunning, and it really shows how much of a visual leap this is over the UbiArt engine.
But man, I am still not sold on Rayman's face. The separated eyes and the shape of his ...

Re: Rayman remake rumor - confirmed by Ubisoft!
The layouts are exactly the same 1:1, but the graphics have been completely rebuilt from scratch. They're throwing in some brand new levels as well.
This is disappointing. I'm not excited about playing the exact same level layouts we've already beaten to death over the last 13 years, just with a ...

Re: Rayman remake rumor - confirmed by Ubisoft!
Well, looks like I can happily eat my words!
When I complained the other day about them choosing Legends over Origins, I honestly didn't think they'd actually give us both. An Origins remaster is literally exactly what I was asking for. It's been trapped on the PS3/360/Wii generation for way too ...
