Re: Rayman merchandise
You might want to add about the one that, as of May 2018 (I don't know about now) that was in the National Videogames Museum in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands too.

Re: Rayman 3
Aaah I think this was the holiday prize that was one of the top prizes but you had to be over 18 to enter that one and even back then I was too young, maybe about 15 or 16 so yeah not a chance there.

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
Hi 2021. I don't have a lot of confidence in whether or not you'll be all that much better than the hot mess that was 2020 but you know, we have some pretty effective covid vaccines going round so do your best ok. Hopefully life can get back to normal, I can see a good fraction of my family after no...

Re: Vegetarianism and veganism, an urban trend?
<drunk post ahead> Ugh yeah this is something I don't like even as someone who eats eggs - mass culling of male chicks, or sliding them on a conveyor belt to get shredded. Sadly the only way around this is to play god with chromosomes if we really want to make sure no males are born in the first pla...

^ Very. It doesn't matter if you've been like me and generally have a good immune system, test negative for family conditions like lupus and PCOS etc, I'm not taking any chances with corona.

Re: Things that boil your blood!
Since we have a veganism thread going, here's one: people who mock vegans in that really cheap, lazy, "haha I'm gonna eat a big steak just to spite vegans" way. It's almost always missing the point and the jokes themselves haven't progressed at all since a decade ago, it's like boomer hum...

Oh thank you. I still haven't 100% nailed the rolling part of sushi but at least I enjoyed that plate.

Re: Coffee or tea?
Oh the pyramid shaped ones might be PG tips, one of the UK favourites. I think being pyramid shaped lets the tea flow a bit more when it's diffusing with the hot water thus bringing more flavour out but IDK, we only had those for 20-30 years.

Re: Vegetarianism and veganism, an urban trend?
I should try having a go at making bean burgers one day, like that "9p burger" that propelled Jack Monroe into the spotlight. Typically at Christmas I could either be having a quorn roast which is meant to be an alternative to chicken or turkey I suppose. It makes a nice alternative to a c...

Re: Vegetarianism and veganism, an urban trend?
I get asked this quite a lot and I'd probably only decide to try a lab grown "meat" if we can all be assured it really did come from say a stem cell and not a whole carcass, and if it's completely safe to eat down the line (ie won't poison, set off digestive disorders etc).

Re: Vegetarianism and veganism, an urban trend?
I think veganism especially is pretty urban too, even just this year so many chains have tried their hand in joining in on Veganuary and giving some interesting vegan options. Like apparently dehydrating a piece of watermelon can somehow taste like a type of tuna. Or how some KFC branches in the UK ...

Re: Coffee or tea?
I don't think I ever had a full on machine that does the grinding and everything, but then I don't feel the need to and I just have pod coffee instead most of the time. I've got an old dolce gusto and I've got a nespresso compatible machine that does the job.

Re: The travel topic
I feel a bit like I narrowly dodged a bullet by doing a short trip to Cheshire (and going slightly into the border of Wales because that was where a Cineworld screening Akira was) for Chester Zoo, and then going down south to Essex and see family and friends; just before both Nottingham and London w...

Re: Pizza
So the other day I attempted to make a stuffed crust pizza. In Tesco they sell a ready made dough so I decided to give it a try, it was like £2.50 for two servings. The mozzarella I used to do the stuffing with got mushy and I think in future I should get it on the tray before topping as it got rath...

If by the time it's safe to go to Japan it's still there I'd love to see what this Tom & Jerry museum is all about. The idea of seeing models of Tom deformities sounds brilliant.

Re: Coffee or tea?
Over here we have a brand of iced tea called fuzetea that started out as being of botanical flavours but in Five Guys they did fruit flavours. I ended up getting a sugar free one by accident at first but I didn't regret it so when I refilled I went for sugar free again but in raspberry.
