Re: Rayman 1 commercial In English :D

Oh wow! I remember seeing this in French ages ago, I didn't even know there was an English version! Also, IIRC one of the reporters ask him "Is your hair colour natural?" in the French one.

Re: What direction will Rayman take for its 6th entry?

I'd actually love to see them attempt free roaming and kind of go a bit for a collect-a-thon route perhaps. Although I feel the linear nature of Rayman 2 and 3 worked very well, this could be interesting. A Rayman 2 what-if spin-off game we get to play as a villain (and female) who's sent on a miss...

Re: Games you consider overrated

I agree that Rayman 2 is a seriously underrated game when it comes to the controls compared to Mario 64, Banjo and DK 64. While they're all good games, from what I've played of games from that era, Rayman 2 just seems to have the tightest controls and a very good camera functionality. I've bought Do...

Not sure why but the simplicity of his hair in Rayman 2 has always appealed to me. Also I'm a bandana fan :P.

Re: What direction will Rayman take for its 6th entry?

It's reasonable to assume that the next game's gonna be the third in the Origins/Legends series as this formula is incredibly successful. However I think maybe making a third one is pushing it, unless they can actually offer something new. I really am hoping for a 3D game, but unfortunately 3D platf...

Re: Games you consider overrated

Rayfist, I'm not too sure if Skyward Sword is actually all that overrated. I've heard a lot of people criticise it for being just as you said a gimmick fest or that they felt Skyloft felt empty and that the feeling of exploration that most Zelda games have is reduced. I personally enjoyed the game f...

Re: Games you consider overrated

The Bioshock Series. Mostly Infinite I guess, since its the most talked about. The games have a great plot which is what kept me playing them. Learning about the background and personalities of all the characters is super interesting. Visuals and designs are amazing, especially Columbia. However, I ...

Re: What are your favorite Rayman levels?

Rayman 1: Dream Forest (my favourite music, has the mosquitos and Tarayzan) Rayman 2: The Precipice (such a fun level) Rayman 3: Land of the Livid Dead (That tower part is really cool) Origins: Mystical Pique (Running up the side of mountains is fun and the music is pretty great) Legends: 20,000 Lum...

Re: Which Rayman characters do you find meaningless?

Tily is an excuse for the animation problems they had with Ly. This. I also find it ridiculous that they couldn't add more characters from Rayman 2 (like Clark, Ly or Jano), rather than give us characters like Razorwife or Dark Globox. Don't get me wrong I think Razorwife is a really funny characte...

Oh wow thank you so much for this! I was about to try installing an XP virtual machine so I could play the game. Finally I can play Rayman M again after all these years! :D

Hi I'm Isen Degard! I've been a long time fan of the Rayman series. I thought I'd get active in the community again, but I'm not really sure if these forums are all that active.
