Re: RAYMAN 4
K-Bups do appear in this build as part of a puzzle in the waterfall Rabbid base. You have to flood the area with them to get up to a ledge.

The mini-Sergueis are the Giant Rabbid from Rayman Raving Rabbids GBA.

Re: RAYMAN IS BACK in 3D in new Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC
What's interesting to me is that the Rabbids in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope are depicted much closer to how they are in the GBA Rayman Raving Rabbids than other Rabbids media. They are also able to talk in that, aren't as stupid, and have varying body shapes and fur color.
Re: Rayman 2
Tbh I never succeeded in being frightened or even on edge during that fight – until I played in first-person mode, that is! Yeah, that is one of the fights the first person mod makes a lot more tense. You can't see it coming out or how close it is to you when you turn your back in first person, so ...
Re: Rayman 2
An interesting little detail I noticed in the PS2 version, in The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, the Mini Jano makes a creepy laugh/snarl when it approaches Rayman when he turns his back to it in that version, unlike in the other versions.
Re: Rayman 2
By the way, anyone else find it hilarious that the boss theme plays for the random red Henchman 800 at the end of the first section of the Bayou in the PS1 version?
Re: Rayman 2
The Tomb of the Ancients is great, but Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava, the Iron Mountains/Gloomy Island and Prison Ship feel very lackluster compared to it. Well, everything may feel lackluster compared to the Tomb of the Ancients, especially if you are a fan of the creepy atmosphere... How...
Re: Rayman 2
It always makes me sad wen I see scrapped content from games I like. It's especially true for Rayman 2, since it's my most favourite game of all time. I think it's actually pretty cool. I mean, sometimes you have to cut content that's either not really consistent with the rest of the game, or of a ...
Re: Rayman 2
Been listening to the ambient tracks from Revolution, the one from Revolution, the one for the Tomb of the Ancients really is something:
That heartbeat, the hissing and roaring of some creature and those screams...

Re: Rayman 2
Oh, something else that bothers me about the PS2 version, you can't revisit The Cave of Bad Dreams once you beat it unlike in the other versions.

Re: Rayman Glitches
I ran into a nasty glitch with the extra Mini Janos in The Cave of Bad Dreams in Revolution. One time, I got caught by one of the Mini Janos while gliding down to the platform. However, after it ate Rayman, instead of him respawning, the camera went back to normal with the Mini Jano that ate him hop...
Re: Rayman 2
By the way, would The Glade of Dreams in Rayman 2 be considered a tropical island? It is depicted as an island in the official map (as well as the Dreamcast and 3DS versions), and they do seem to be going for more of a Caribbean-style setting with things like the pirates, swamps, more tropical-looki...
Re: Rayman 2
The save prompts are what really annoyed me about Revolution. They pop up really often, and take a bit to load.
Re: Rayman 2
When I fought Grolem 13, after beating him, I noticed my save file was somehow deleted. I had to make a new one once I reached the Prison Ship.
Re: Rayman 2
I'd even expect standing on the plum in the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire to be pretty intense, you have to look in the opposite direction to fire and make the plum move. Not to mention the Baby Caterpillars, which are a lot harder to deal with without being able to see what's behind you withou...
Re: Rayman 2
I only had a look at the video for the first person mod for Rayman 2. It looks... interesting. It certainly makes parts of the game more intense, like the spider chase in the Canopy, as you can't actually see it when climbing on the web as Rayman looks in whatever direction he is moving in, so you ...

Re: Rayman Legends
Anyone else think 20,000 Lums Under the Sea should of been the final area instead of Olympus Maximus? It feels much more like a final stage than Olympus, and the boss is more climactic than the one in Olympus in my opinion.
Re: Rayman 2
While the PS1 version may be lacking in areas, it does have some neat exclusive content, like the cutscenes with the Guardians, an actual boss for The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, exclusive areas and details like the Barrel Pirates' legs remaining then kneeling and falling down when they are defeate...

Re: Rayman Legends
Some Rayman fans like me prefer the more coherent, restrained and story-focused styles of 2 and 3, though.
