Re: Globox himself

Yeah, they used the voice from the beginning of Rayman 2 where he shouts "GLOOBOOX".

Re: Rayman 3

There's a possibility it might not happen on PS3, since I've only played it on Xbox. I'm not entirely sure though, but on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it was really noticeable to me.

Re: Rayman 3

Not exactly that it unintentionally loops, more that the samples have gaps in them, and you can hear it when they either loop or move on to the next sample. It's very noticeable on the Teensie Highway music, and also the sound when Celoche is firing the laser for example. The music sounds like it's ...

Re: Rayman Mini

If they felt like it, they could have definitely made a port of Revolution by now that actually runs decently. I recall Revolution being on PS3 if you used the store, and same with Rayman 1 (which also works from the disc). The problem is there's a lot of input lag, and you can only play the PAL ver...

Re: Rayman Origins

I don't know why this works, but it does.

I guess even in Raymanian though, it sounds like he's talking about "Calibrew stew" or something. Maybe he means coffee, since that's what Calibrew seems to be. :P

Re: Rayman M-Arena

I do have M on PC, but I haven't actually played it much yet to get that far. I guess once I do, I'll find out if I have the same issue. Unfortunately my DVD drive might be packing up though, since when I boot Linux lately it keeps reporting how ata1 is slow to respond (delaying startup). I noticed ...

Re: Rayman merchandise

When I first played the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, I was a bit confused as to what was going on. I admit they done a really good job on this level. especially regarding their limitations at the time. It seems really open despite the fact that it isn't.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids

There are RRR articles which have a lot of red links when relating to levels/minigames. I'm sure some of these could be worked on at some stage in the future too.

Re: Rayman Redemption

Rayman Redemption has just had a big update, version 1.1.0. This update fixes many bugs, and in addition, it adds a harder difficulty level to the game. demisetease-jd3sx4fi.png New: -New difficulty mode called 'Demise' -Added an option to turn off the skid sound effect -Bzzit medallions will also t...

Re: Rayman 3

Menus don't have issues with a controller using xinput. The cutscene sync was always off also, but like you mentioned before, they seemed a lot closer when played at 50Hz.

There are many reasons I don't prefer HD though, the sound looping being really off is another example.

Re: Rayman himself

Nothing says they can't scrap that timeline and go back to the likes of the Rayman 2 story, after all, Razorbeard never did die. Saying that, I was always fine with the UbiArt titles. Sure they're inconsistent and it's really hard to make anything canonical, but so were the first three games. All th...

I'm tired too, which is ironic given how I've had more sleep today than I've had in a while.

If they're going to use Rayman 2 references then using the Baby Globox model would have been a good start. :P

Also yeah, Flanders.

Re: Rayman 1

I've seen many parallax backgrounds in games, but it's pretty interesting how they didn't make it like this on PS1. It's still parallax in the way that it moves at a different speed than the foreground, but not quite like this where both backgrounds move parallax to each other.

Re: How are you feeling today?

I feel great at the moment because I just installed a controller driver for my system and played a level in Origins to test it. It really is nice to build a system from the ground up then be able to play games on it that were made for Windows. :D Of course, there are still some small things that wil...

Re: Rayman himself

Rayman 3 was a nice game really, so in a way it wouldn't be out of the question to have another team work on the next game again. I would prefer it in a way if Ancel was involved, but it could take a while.

Re: Rayman himself

While you can't force a game developer to publish a new game just by trending something like this, it will at least show them how many people are interested in seeing a new Rayman game at some stage. It should be enough to show that a lot of people still care about Rayman. I did also mention the fac...
