The survey's meant to be an annual thing anyways, so you'll get a chance when the next survey is up.

Re: You know you suck at Rayman when...

Oh yeah, wasn't that the level that Xenon tried using a shock rocket glitch to see if he could find a hidden room?

Re: Rayman Origins

Check out the Rayman Origins TexMod thread, I think folks have posted links to some of them there. The mods in question do vary in quality, but overall, they're not too shabby.

Re: The You Game!

<'s never actually soldered with separate flux, <'s only ever come into contact with the leadless type of solder with the flux core. As for soldering itself. <'d take the lazy option and use reflow if < could, but <'s not quite as averse to it as < used to be. It's just a pity that some of the solde...

Aiaiai, < thinks it's a real pity, the new series was just finding its feet.

Re: Guilty or Innocent Game

Ever take out a cup, put a teabag into the cup, put sugar in if you take it, pour the boiling water in then walk to the fridge as you look forward to having that cuppa. But then... You open the fridge and Bam... NO MILK! Oh yeah, whenever that happens, especially if it's my morning cuppa', I'm in a...

Considering I'm in the middle of a job search, I'm very guilty.

Meek in person, snarky in writing?

I'd never thought I'd see a newcomer rise up to the position of 4th most active poster of the year within a month. What that says for our activity, is a different matter. But man, you've really dove in, Steo.

The missing egg in DOTK? Happened to me on my first run through Rayman 3 PS2 all those years ago, still completely confounded as to why that happened. T'was the final egg at the end of the first level, if memory serves.

Re: How's the weather?

We had some snow earlier in the morning, but now it's obscenely warm to the point where I've got a window open and the fan is running. Though I'm wondering if it's because someone's been messing with the central heating.

To whomever put "very dynamic" as their second favourite trait in Rayman 3, could you clarify what you mean by that? Also, whoever put "everything" for Rayman 2, that's called a cop-out.

Re: Rayman 2 Stairway To Wall

I think one of Rayman 2's best traits is how it manages to give the illusion that levels are bigger or part of something much larger than they themselves are. I guess it's one of the benefits of having a linear but open design, rather than going for the collectathon or mission-based structure of mor...

Re: What games are you currently playing?

Haven't played the full game, but I did try out the demo. From what I've played, what you're saying there sounds about right. I think that Star Allies should be the last game to follow the RtD formula for a while, and give HAL the opportunity to perhaps come up with a new concept for the Kirby serie...
