Re: Rayman Origins

Wow, I'm pretty mystified by what Ancel said. It does sound like he's trying to gauge public opinion on the story as it is, like he's unsure if it conveys the appropriate message or not. Wow, Michel Ancel looks like he has been working without sleep for weeks. He has trouble keeping his eyes open an...

Re: Crash Bandicoot

Okay that's pretty cool, but when I read "Banjo" my mind jumped somewhere completely different and now I'm disappointed.

Re: Rayman Adventures

I wonder if Murfy is satisfied with his lot in life. In Rayman 3 he was complaining about being a sidekick. Now he's a cursor.

Okay maybe I wasn't following Origins's development enough, but what are those red things they're collecting? Proto lums that don't actually look like lums?

Re: Rayman Adventures

Did anyone manage to snag the tribal costumes that they took off the shop after about a week? I noticed they gave Teenseer a radical redesign, though they still aren't offering the costumes anymore. Teenseer's description references the bone that he has through his nose, but his redesign features no...

Yep, the Light Tower is awesome. Rayman 3 has a lot of things that make you go "well damn dude".

Aww, I didn't know they had R3-era art hanging on the walls at Ubisoft! That makes me feel good.

Re: Rayman Adventures

It might actually be the last Rayman game designed with Ancel if Ubisoft press releases are to be believed, then he is only working on Beyond Good and Evil 2 part time, while Wild is consuming his life I'm sure because it looks sort of massive. I don't see the point of continuing the series without...

Re: Rayman Adventures

Am I just bad at this game or are most of the WWE levels incomplete as far as Lum counts go? Many times I've searched a level back-and-forth multiple times and could only find enough cages/enemies for the second reward.

Re: Rayman himself

Well, I saw Rayman at a grocery store in Los Angeles when I was seven. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he ...

Re: Rayman Adventures

Adventures's levels are good for what they are, but they're a bit shallow and unambitious. Most of them are straight-forward, linear and geared toward only one style of gameplay--beat the enemies, collect the lums, get to the end quickly. The levels go for instant gratification instead of innovation...

O shit, I see what the update is now! Every character now has a sort of "tribal" skin. We've got Shayman, Grovebox, Amazonia, and Teenseer. They're pretty colorful and cool-looking.

Re: Crash Bandicoot

The only update the old Crash games need is an upgrade to current-gen graphics. Everything else could remain the same and it would be perfectly wonderful.
