The medium of Conversational Networks are weblogs or blogs, which is a journal published on the Internet that contains a mixture of what is happening in a person’s life as well as the latest web trends. Blogs are updated regularly and can be maintained even by people with little technical knowledge through the use of a program or script. What happens is that a person read someone’s blog, and then gets a general idea of the author based on what he or she writes in the blog. One can even participate in someone’s blog by adding comments on their entries. Bloggers—those who own and write in blogs—have the choice to ignore their readers or reciprocate by reading and placing comments on the blogs of their readers. Then they can develop a more personal relationship through e-mails, chat, or an eyeball, a term used for people from the Internet who meet face-to-face for the first time.

Kind of, but that's something everyone contributes to, instead of an individual.

You mean the news feed on the front page? You have to be a member of staff, or else be given permission to add articles. When I said everyone contributes, I was referring to the other feed, that appears on the right of the portal, and is just a list of all the latest posts on the forum.

Re: Is Pirate-Community a Conversational Network?
For some reason the words "conversation network" makes me think of those old spammed posts I ran into last year that I think explained a conversational network or something like that?
Re: Is Pirate-Community a Conversational Network?
I am pretty sure it is just the explanation and nothing else. The Jonster wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 9:08 pm For some reason the words "conversation network" makes me think of those old spammed posts I ran into last year that I think explained a conversational network or something like that?

I can't recall that being that long. I swore it had like 5 lines of words in the explanation.PluMGMK wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 9:45 pmWell, Rubber quoted one of those very posts here. The Jonster wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 9:08 pm For some reason the words "conversation network" makes me think of those old spammed posts I ran into last year that I think explained a conversational network or something like that?
