Yes, I have seen that cover art before. As you can see, back then, he didn't come into the 3D universe too well...In my opinion...

That cover art is why I bought it from Europe.
As for Hunchman801's picture...it's a little odd. Not as odd as the cover art Xenon09 posted, though still a little odd. (C) Ubisoft, pixed by Nokia...

I thought the picture Xenon showed was just an artwork

I don't know how Ubisoft expect to sell a game with that cover

It is actual cover art. (For Americans)
Maybe the 3D world was still a bit too far away for Rayman...

Maybe this was the first look Rayman had when they modelized him for Rayman2!

Maybe so, though they then made him polygonal.

I don't know, but the cover looks like it was meant to be in 3D. Maybe they wanted a 3D pic for Rayman 1...
They failed, either way

At the beginning, Rayman 2 was supposed to be 2D sequel...

He was certainly 3D in RM/RA...

Of course, since this game was developed after Rayman 2 was available

Rayman 2 hadn't had as good graphics as RR/RM/RA, it's a good thing Ubisoft decided to update them.

When it was just available, the graphics of Rayman 2 were great

I still quite like the look of Rayman 2, though.

Shouldn't be very far down...

Alright, then.
And I have just ordered Rayman Gold. I should get it in 2-3 weeks.
That was on the 28th. Got it today. Though, it does have its own problem. I had bought the Revival/Focus Multimedia edition, and it just so turns out, in that version, there's no music tracks loaded on the disc.
