Rather than an alternate sprite, that looks like you gave the belly the same palette as the head, hence the white and yellow colors in there
Very nice that this was dumped though, but it's a shame that we didn't get the version with multiple levels, enemies/creatures and the 2-player mode... that would give a much better image of what the game was supposed to be.

Ah, that does make more sense than a robed Rayman flaunting his belly

I took a quick look inside the file and this is the result: http://www.mediafire.com/view/9ge709leq ... yproto.png
Nothing out of ordinary, but I can see a couple of angry eyes in there, possibly for an enemy.
(Also I didn't care to correct the palette, sorry about that. )

I remembered that I never completed the Atari Jaguar version. I think I got stuck on the first phase of Pencil Pentathlon because of the annoying mechanics that Rayman couldn't gain speed on slippery slopes.
Been hoping the crash bandicoot remake would spark interest in a Rayman remake, we know the devs have been influenced by crash before thats how the original 2d rayman 2 was scrapped. Even if Ubi are just in it for the money these days, hopefully they see the success of n sane trilogy and follow. Fingers crossed
