Speaking of Axel, I found his boss battle annoyingly easy.

Oh that is excellent! I was actually wondering the other day if anyone would have the sound effects etc. ! You're a saviour...Drolpiraat wrote:By the way - while I was just working on the upcoming Rayman 2 soundtrack for RayTunes (almost done - it will be up in less than a week, probably), I decided to extract the sound files as well to get some of the jingles (+ Globox's rain dance song, the little dance at the end of each level, and the "alternate ending") that aren't stored as music but as sound effects.
I have all (or most of them, because some files were "corrupt") the sounds in the PC version now, and I uploaded them here for you:

It's an interesting listen, especially the Raymanian sounds. It's a great way to feel all nostalgic again.
Also, two fun facts:
In the sound effects filenames, normal caterpillars are actually named "chenille" too (due to that being the French name), and the "yeah!" sound from the super lums is actually Rayman's pitched up a bit.
Enjoy

Yes, they have produced real pianos and keyboards.stan423321 wrote:Droolie, great thanks for SFX. Now I have a good SMS signal.
By the way, did Yamaha produce "real" pianos, or am I getting definition of real piano wrong?
Alright, how would I go about using the Cheat Engine to do this then? I have a friend who's familiar with the engine, so he might be able to help me if you show us the first steps. I've been trying to find ways to actually get either the 3D Ripper to work, or find ways to decrypt the .gf, despite your warnings (I really want them). It's a bit of a bummer though that the 3D Ripper won't work on Rayman 2 on my PC, while it does work on games like Rayman M. I use an XP computer, maybe that's why?Drolpiraat wrote: Textures are compressed within the *.cnt files. They can be decompressed with a program like MultiEx Commander or Game Extractor. You'll get a lot of *.gf files then, which are the textures. As far as I know, it's not even worth it to try to decrypt them: the files don't work correctly as even normal PCM wave files that are compressed in Rayman Arena's CNTs won't play. So, you can't edit anything unless you have Cheat Engine and you modify the memory.
