Doesn't seem recommendable, according to Megy.

True, because:
1: it's the Rayman2 version with the most ugly graphics.
2: D-Pad controls are nasty for Rayman2, Touch screen isn't handy too.

Would you recommend Rayman DS for someone who hasn't played Rayman 2 before though... I mean... is it the exact same game?

I had the PC version before, but it doesn't work on my computer's vid card... The text is all.. blockish and the textures are all screwed up. And then the game is sped up severely. I mean.. I press the forward key and in a matter of 1 or 2 seconds, I fall in water. A pirate shoots at me, and I don't even see the shot, just a giant flash on my screen and my health bar is gone before I know it.

I hope it'll do the job. As you can read in the topic, it improved the performance incredibly much on mine.

I hope it might be able to get Rayman 2 to work aswell.. but... I talked to someone on RZ already about the Radeon 9100 with Rayman 2. He called UbiSoft tech support and they basically said that 9200's and some below that won't work, and just to get a new card. ><

That's almost definitely what you need, even with the new driver.

One thing I wonder though is that why Rayman 2 works fine with older cards than mine, but not Radeon 9100 and Radeon 9200. lol

...and then Tonic Trouble.. that's got the same engine as Rayman 2, can run just fine on Radeon 9100 and 9200.. O_o; Rayman 2 doesn't have much video card compatability anyways. _ _

I don't even know what video card my old computer has. R2 worked fine on it though, so it's probably shit. ^^

I've been cursed by having friends with other vid cards that also aren't compatable with the game. O_o; I got it working on my school's computers from a USB Thumbdrive.. but.. um.. I kinda got in trouble for that. ^^; And.. my school's computers are SLOW!! ><

Well, I recently solved my video-card problem with Rayman 2!

...I gave up on it and downloaded a N64 emulator and Rayman 2 rom, and for the first time EVER, I've been able to play the game without the textures being screwed up (too much... it is an emulator, and emulators usually sucketh).

...W00T!

And I figured that no one will really care sence I've got the PC version.. It just doesn't work.
