Re: Rayman 3
THere seem to be some changes on each version I don't konw about. I should check the differences aside from the physics and graphics.

I think I might just leave that value at 1C actually because it should be OK surely. It's basically just being set to the same as stock at 1C since the screen is widenes but either way the Xbox is still displaying 480p.
I wonder about Xbox now because I think LOTLD has rain on that too considering that level has a lot of drops from 60fps on Xbox.
Alright I'm telling you guys you can either move much faster on Xbox or the jump height is more of a factor than we think. I just managed to get the double green gem combo on DOTK part 4 first attempt there with the net climbing and with a little alcohol in my system too

Re: Rayman 3
I've decided that I'm going to go with the GC for my normal playthrough, XBOX for combos, PS2 for glitchless high score playthrough, and PC for high score playthrough with glitches, IPG and non-IPG.
I've been wanting to say this for a long time now, but I think it's ok if people think I'm weird for filling up multiple save files on one console, how people feel about me doing such a thing has never really bothered me that much. I mean that makes me unique as a person, and I like doing that. As long as the game is something that I love very, very much, then I could play 100 save files and never truly get tired of it. I know that I once stated that when it comes to games, I only 100% if it's a game that I like, and this and the series itself is one such series. To me, when I want to 100% something, I tend to go to a bit of an extreme and fill up all the save files. Even if one file is supposedly "100%", to me I don't feel the game itself is 100% unless I fill ALL of them up, but I guess that's how crazy of a video gamer I am, and it's my nature. I've always loved Rayman, even when I took a hiatus for a few years several times, I came back to it eventually, and this feeling of pure joy that I get when playing them is something I'll never let go of. You'd have to shoot me first before I give these feelings up. Rayman has been a part of my life for a very long time now, and this game has always been my favorite to play, even today as an adult, though I love the others just as much. I know when I play the UbiArt games eventually i will love them the same way that I do with all 3 of the original trilogy.
I apologize if this sounded like a rant, but I've kinda wanted to speak out my opinion on how I felt about filling up save files on games for a long time now.

When I was looking for Rayman 3 demo I found on this topic information about IGN preview.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2002/05/21/ ... irect-feed
Videos from this demo are older than build 27/08/02 (because they are from May 2002). They have a couple of interesting things.
List of videos:
Dangerous Game (Razoff Mansion):

Re: Rayman 3
The invisible object has definitely happened to me once with the rock, and it’s happened with plums too, in TLOLD. Tbh I’ve been trying to get a video of it happening in one of the two places for months now but I have no idea how to get it to happen, it just happens when you get hit.StelzenBomber wrote:So i just found a glitch

Also sometimes the hoodboom just doesnt spawn on ps2
About that hoodboom, I’ve also seen that happen in other versions. And the red can is the only thing left, I assume that he just blew himself up by mistake.

Re: Rayman 3
@nve thank you so much for linking them all here, I saw these some years ago but I was always too lazy to find them again since IGN is a mess sometimes and these videos are actually pretty important, they show some very early black lums and the fact that the gems were originally crowns, someone should save these

Re: Rayman 3
I've seen it happen on both GC and PC too. I think it definitely involves getting hit, but I don't know yet how to trigger it, since I've tried multiple times, during which I've also discovered that enemies can be killed automatically with plums, though for no points. Too bad as that could be game changing for my score!StelzenBomber wrote:i beleave its only on ps2 tho or maby gamecube

Yes, it is.Eren wrote:I was always too lazy to find them again since IGN is a mess sometimes
These videos are not visible normally on the website because Rayman 3 is separated on IGN portal for PlayStation 2 and GameCube. When someone tries to click on the GC link, he is redirected to PlayStation2 version. The only way to get on GameCube subpage it's to find in "Search" section the video from Rayman 3 GC and then click on a link. And there were hidden all these videos.
They are already on IGN YT channel but with cut titles.Eren wrote:someone should save these

Re: Rayman 3
I think I linked those videos here many years ago. The black Lums were looking much more different in those videos.
EDIT:
Okay, I watched the videos and write down the things we didn't had in a playable beta yet. I apologize if I missed something or if I am wrong with something.
- Originally crowns were the collectives.
- In the livid dead videos, the healthbar of Rayman is yellow.
- Rayman doing his idle animation often and yelling "yehaaa"
- Razoff having different lines and voice? (or am I wrong?)
- Does Rayman have a different voice too?
- The powerup timer is different looking.
- The Grim Keeper has no introduction
- The black Lums have a different model.
- Pigpots originally were crates.
- The weapons of the Hoodlums drop on the floor after being defeated.
- Slightly different SFX
- Serial shooter sign? (Was it in the betas we know and played? Can't remember.)
If I missed something, please tell us what I have been missing.

Re: Rayman 3
Wow, I just watched those May 2002 demos, and looking at those early black lums, I think I may have recalled seeing some strange looking black lum textures that have a very similar design to the ones shown on that demo while I was looking at Rayman 3 HD's files. Maybe I can see if those textures are still there somewhere.
