So the Rabbids stole Rayman's brain. This is now canon. :P

When he got stuck in the hole in the ground? Maybe they sucked it out through his feet.

And rabbids on gba and DS feel like it

Well, Rabbids on GBA is not a Rabbids game. It's a regular Rayman game with Rabbids as the antagonists. :)

And it could have been pretty good, had it not been for the subpar gameplay.

Is it? I haven't played the latter in ages but I didn't remember much of a difference.

Rayman 3 is miles better in my opinion. Each level feels unique there with is own theme and new gameplay mechanics. The music is varied and graphics are interesting and high quality. I loves exploring the hub areas and unlocking new levels by getting new power ups. The bonus levels were fun and challenging too.
RRR on the other hand has incredibly repetitive levels (every level in the same world looks exactly the same), a pretty bad soundtrack, a bunch of glitches and lower quality graphics (even Rayman's sprite has less detail now).

To me, rayman 3 gba has gimicky levels, trial and error gamplay
Unvorgiving and just plain unfair...and kinda ugly
And the music is just rayman 2 on n64...somehow

Rrr gba while basic doesnt overstay its welcome
It knows its bounds and doesnt introsuce a gimick every damn elevel that kills you in 1 hit
Levels are short and fun
The music is pretty good...maybe a bit high pitched

And glitches...us version mostly
I havent found any on my EU copy yet

I haven't played R3 GBA in ages so I don't know about it, but RRR GBA sure has a pretty bad collision system and the controls feel very unresponsive.

The costumes, also, completely break the pace of the game. They're of no value to the game whatsoever anyway.

Maybe some mechanics are better in RRR GBA, but it's pretty boring - almost all levels are the same, as far as I can remember. R3 GBA had more variety.

As someone who loves Rayman 2 I really appreciated how R3 GBA was basically a 2D variant of that. We got all levels included like the Echoing Caves, the sanctuaries etc. very well translated into Rayman 1-style gameplay. We even got the waterski levels levels which work surprisingly well on GBA (not including emulators where they're glitches and cause you to take damage constantly).

The best thing about RRR GBA is probably all the content from the cancelled Rayman 4 anyway.

... Rayman doesn't have nostrils, he just breaths through his skin, mainly the skin on his noes.
