It says I can use a controller to play it so I wonder if that would give full control over the player just like Legends. I have to try it out later.
Controller gives you more or less full control. You can't decide if you want to run or not though since that's automatic. If I remember correctly, ground pounds are also easier to perform.
Nice to know thanks. I have a PS4 controller, one of the newer Xbox controllers with Bluetooth and a Switch pro controller so I'll try those out on it. I'm pretty sure all of those should pair with my phone since they all have Bluetooth.
The game itself looks like a really good game for a mobile game, since most of them usually focus on stupid stuff like "you have no moves left, make this in app purchase for 3 more moves". At least this game doesn't do that

*hysterical laughter*
apparently waiting 3 hours for an ugly spheroid to hatch just so you can continue doesn’t count as waiting for lives to refill
good to know

So never mind then, I didn't know it done that
Well it's even worse when they try to force you into buying like 3 extra moves in a game for example when you failed the level or else making the level impossible to try tempt you to spend money on the game in order to pass it. Does Adventures actually go that far?

I see. Well feck it anyway
I wouldn't bother paying, but then there are a lot that would be persuaded into it. I guess the game is free to play as long as you don't do that, though it's still stupid imo. It's better to actually pass the level yourself than to have to pay just to pass it

Yeah, in Rayman Fiesta Run the things that you can buy are pretty useless too.
I haven't played this game in a while now. It's a good game though.

i always meme about Adventures being “aN abOmInATiOn oF mObILe gAmINg” but as Steo pointed out it’s miles ahead of tons of other freemium games. and, in its defence, i do really like some of the designs of the new skins!
...others, not so much
then again, even before Adventures Ubi haven’t exactly been consistent with the creativity of their character designs
now, if only RPC could add image-resizing bbcode

I don't think we'd actually need that. Not only would it likely scale images horribly, but you could just resize the images yourself before uploading them if you think they're too big.
You could have also just linked the thumbnails like this and you wouldn't need to resize them.

That's cool. It's amazing how often unused content is found in Rayman games. It's even more amazing how people manage to find the content.

Here's part 2 where I found a few more unused levels and the potential usage for a previously known unused texture:

Awesome findings, Carrot! Though my favorite remains the Desert Kingdom.

If you need any localized text I can upload the game localization file which has all of it. Just let me know.

Do you have a file that contains all the spanish texts in the game? Is it a very heavy file?

Here's a link to it: Rayman Adventures localization file
You'll need a Hex editor to view it (such as HxD). Then simply press Ctrl + F and search for the costume name and you should hit the costume description in there. The file is grouped into different sections, one for each language (starting with English).

I have just discovered in the archives a scrapped character called Ray Dev team. The only thing I've discovered about him is that he has his name and the in-game description translated in different languages. His in-game description is this:
This true hero helped creating this game! Now it's time for him to play it and have fun!
The character and his in-game description are listed in the game's archives at number 171 and 172, respectively.

Sounds like a joke character for internal use only. Like Ubi Ray in Legends.
