They never replied to me either so we ended up just fixing it ourselves in the end, and in fact, making it better too since they removed features. I was always told their support was bad, but I at least expected a reply of some sort.

Im assuming a fix for iOS versions is gonna require some form of jailbreaking and since my phone is essentially a glorified ipod i dunno if itll be worth it

Sadly the iOS versions would be way harder fixing. You'd need jailbreak and we'd probably need a Mac for editing it (unless people have ported over some parts of the SDK and such). Since I don't have an iPhone with iOS 13 I can't even begin to look into it.

Jailbreaking iOS 13 would probably be unlikely too, which makes matters even worse.

I've also been trouble shooting Telltale's walking Dead and its astonishing that I'm getting better, more reliable support from a bankrupt company than a multibillion dollar one.

At least people with Android devices can play the game again, but I feel bad for the iOS 13 users. :(

This sucks for me especially because I have no other devices to play these games, so now I will never be able to play them ever again.

There are always the PC versions or the option to use Android emulators, even though neither of them are ideal.

This is why I kind of hate the digital age. As soon as something like this happens then digital only games are gone for good basically. And with mobile games there’s not even a way to make them available physically. It’s kind of depressing.

And now that physical copies are patched with dozens of updates as soon as they're released, the game may not be gone for good but you'll most likely be left with a buggy release.

I still find it interesting how the Android versions are still available, but then we also kind of fixed these ourselves since the newer versions basically made them worse.

At least they're easy enough to emulate, though I guess a detailed tutorial might be helpful for some.

I'll think about it if and when Rayman Mini 2 is released. :P

I think it's more likely that Rayman 4 will be out by the time I have an Apple device.

Having this old Android tablet that I got as a gift and couldn't find a use for, I decide to give Rayman mobile games a serious try. Beat Jungle Run, and it was quite a pleasant experience. The mechanics of Origins were translated well, and the simplified levels and controls are exactly what was right for a mobile device, rather than attempting to port the full thing. The game is shorter and easier than its desktop/console counterpart, but getting all lums and beating all "land of the dead" levels still provided good challenge for a couple of days.

Kudos to the modders of RPC (Steo, MilesTheCreator, RayCarrot) who released the patched APKs.

Edit: Just beat Fiesta Run on the same tablet (beat, in the sense of getting all 88 "all lums collected" crowns + beat the 4 "Livid Dead" levels). Did most of it over the weekend, and finished up the last few levels yesterday and today. The difficulty does ramp up towards the end, as you'd expect.

The tablet I used (LG V400) is apparently too weak and Fiesta Run was slowing down at times, mostly with areas with lots of transparencies (winds or those sound waves). Generally it makes things easier, except when it varied a lot within a level, messing up my timing, or when it slowed things down so much that the game became a tedious chore. Unfortunately, both tended to happen a lot in the "Candy World" levels. Still, I managed to beat it.

One thing I find annoying in Fiesta Run is how it tries to offer you to spend lums on those gadgets all the time. I didn't use any of them, not once (except the couple of early levels where they were offered for free as a demo).

I'm glad you appreciate the patched APKs. :)

I never did actually play through to the end of Fiesta Run myself, I only really bothered to complete Jungle Run. I did think there was a lot of glitches in Jungle Run, but somehow this made the game fun to mess with.

Jungle Run was a lot of fun. Fiesta Run, it was fun too but I don't like to replay levels over and over just to get enough lums to unlock things is all.

If and when I get an Android, I'll come back here. :)
