That's for damn sure! The DRM was required to connect to the Challenges and Invasion leaderboards, which they never bothered to protect from cheating, so it was never really worth having in any sense!

Exactly, and now that you can't connect anymore anyway, the DRM is completely pointless. It's even worse on the Steam version with its double DRM, as if single DRM isn't bad enough.
I'm still surprised Origins on Steam is DRM free, not many Steam games are.
So on a related subject - not only the online features are disabled, it seems the club challenges / rewards are also broken.
I took advantage of the free offer to add the game to my Uplay account, but the club challenges wouldn't unlock, even though the requirements have been met. After a lot of back and forth with Ubi support, they managed to manually unlock all club challenges for me, and after spending the Club units on the lum rewards and getting the message "You can access this Reward within the game" (see attached screenshot), I expected to just have the lums added to my total the next time I started the game and loaded my save.
Well, it didn't happen, and I don't see anywhere in the game that I can manually redeem these lums. Pity, because those 22K would put me closer to the 750K I need to unlock the next costume.
Did I miss something or is it actually broken for all players now?
All connections to Ubisoft's servers have been disabled in the game, including for rewards. Only way to get them now is by editing the save file sadly.
It's funny that it would show them as obtained locally, but still would need to dial into the servers to sync it with the save, which is also local. What a bizarre behavior. Well. if I was going to cheat, I would just give myself >1M lums to start.
Edit: Bah; hacked the save and gave myself 750,000 lums exactly. Then used your Rayman Control Panel to unlock Ray Dev team. Thanks for that feature! Feeling better about the whole thing now.

How do you even cheat? I've never reached the final level of awesomeness, after all.
Legends has like no protection at all. You can just edit the save and it'll work, and editing real-time values with Cheat Engine would probably work too (and is probably what most cheaters did). I find that pretty ironic tbh, since Origins doesn't allow you to edit the saves (it has a checksum check), but that game has no online functionality.
So uhm…*nervous laughter* Speaking of trophies, does anyone here still play the PS4 version?
I’m aiming to obtain the platinum trophy and I’m in need of assistance for the two challenge trophies (I’m ahead and The Competitor).
Any help would mean a lot to me! I hope it’s okay to ask for help in this topic.

I was barely every able to get a gold cup in the challenges so that's a problem for me too.
I can partially relate to that! It’s difficult to get Diamond cups for me. A lot of them seem to be downright impossible, especially the ones where you have to do things as quickly as possible. Did they secretly install a Sonic mod or what? Oh cheaters…
That being said, I’m still looking for trophy help! I only need I'm Ahead, The Competitor and reaching level 11 and then I'm 100 % finished.
I'd recommend sending friend requests to players you see on the leaderboards. That's how I got my trophy, and a lot of players accept it if you write you're from Legends.

I would have helped but I haven't used my PS4 in ages to be honest. I was playing it on Xbox One, then on PC until they took down the servers.
Didn't know that, that sucks. Does the servers being down prevent players unlocking anything?
Just the uplay achievement if you care about those, but also getting 10,000,000 Lums would take forever by just replaying the story levels too, since you can't do online challenges.
The Uplay achievements actually worked for me. But the Club challenges wouldn't unlock and the Club rewards didn't register even after Ubisoft support unlocked the challenges manually for me.
