I just marathoned through Kaiba and it's a great anime that feels like a 90's anime for one that was made in 2008.

Would you believe me if I said Universal Studios of Japan were going to include an Attack on Titan attraction? Because it's happening.

"Universal Studio Japan
Programmed opening of Attack on Titan: The Real

Opening on January 23th 2015

Beyond imagination, smashing quality.
Exactly because it's in Universal Studio Japan

Feel the world of Attack on Titan,
(Feel) its fear, its desperation, everything becomes real in front of your eyes."

Roughly translated.

By the way, is Attack on Titan worth it? I've seen so much talk/CM etc. on it but never get really interested in that much. Let me know if I should give it a shot!

If there's something that interests you about Attack On Titan then it's worth the try at least. Otherwise I wouldn't say it's worth your time unless you're really hungry for anime.

I like Attack on Titan, it's not OMG BEST ANIME EVER!!, but it's good. I say it's worth a shot. Plus, you can't go wrong with that theme song.

Thinking of the OP I still prefer the 2nd one to the 1st one, especially when it comes to full versions. But mostly because the 2nd feels more like that OP where you want to kick titan butt.

Dat OP is powerful as fuck.
What if Mr.Krabs took Rayman 4 and hid it under the floorboards.

I still have no interest in Attack on Titan yet, nothing has compelled me to try it out again since I first looked into it.

I'm also busy getting through every Season of South Park as far as show marathon-ing goes, though. However, I'm thinking of watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure after that.
Please check out my YouTube channel, specifically my Sonic Lost World "Talkthrough"!

I still think Seinfeld is the best anime however.

Attack on Titan for me was all about the action/fight scenes and the badass moments (Levi, all the time. Him beating the shit out of Eren is the best scene ever). Don't go in expecting fully developed characters you can get attached to. They are mostly stereotyped characters with the usual 'tragic backstory oh no pity me'. A lot of the plot is pretty predictable as well, but I still think it's worth it for the above mentioned things.

Maybe it's because I'm very critical on what I consider "good" ways to convey a story, but I honestly don't think AoT is that good. Much of the cast and plot (as Beebo has pointed out) rely on well trodden tropes and gimmicks to convey a considerable portion of the story. This really just makes everything in the show feel recycled and bland, even during the climax! and Something that irks me is that in the Sub version (this was changed when localizing), is that Mikasa is monotone through allmost every episode she is in, and kinda feels like a bland robot that only wants to do its job. Having read Dragon Ball recently and watched FMA:Brotherhood, as well as sword art, I can't say this series (except within its bizarre choice of animation) is in anyway unique in comparison to other popular Japanese story's.

Despite my moody I think it's really best to check it out yourself and decide your opinion from there with this show.

Yea basically like Dart and I said, don't expect an amazing story going in.

I hate this is anime. Why not let us see them go through shit instead of trying to feel bad for them for something that already happened?

I hear it's mostly the anime to blame for lack of any character development and that it's manga does it better. Not that i'm all that interested in reading the manga but I do find manga spoilers for it amusing.

Yeah, it's practically Japan's Game Of Thrones. Surprisingly I've never been told the ending of AoT, and I probably don't want to know it either.
