Favourite and least favourite movie/s?
Just wanted to create a topic about favourite and least favourite movies.
This may be a little like the Movies You Just Recently Watched Topic but this one is either extreme like or extreme dislike (if that makes any sence).
I have a lot of favourite movies, e.g. Gremlins, Back to the Future, Star Wars, E.T., Close Encounters, etc.
My least favourite is The Room. It is hilariously bad.

Humans are the third most intelligent creatures on Earth.
Dolphins are the second most intelligent creatures on Earth.
Mice are the most intelligent creatures on Earth.
I am one of the people who agrees with this.
I have my reasons.

Re: Favourite and least favourite movie/s?
Oh, hai Mark!
I find it hard to pick a favourite, but I can pick out a few that I really like.
There is Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2 (surprise surprise), the Ace Ventura movies, GoldenEye, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones (original trilogy), The Bear, Hellboy, V for Vendetta and Iron Man.
My least favourie has to be A Dirty Shame. It has slightly better acting than The Room, but even less plot. It doesn't manage to be funny either, even though it's supposed to.

Another excellent film is Pan’s Labyrinth.
A particularly terrible one is Ultraviolet.

Re: Favourite and least favourite movie/s?
The Room absolutely p0wns all. The flower shop scene... the roof scene... complete lolage. I'd love to know where the titular room is though. Is it the bedroom? The loungey-living-room-ey area? Who knows.
I've always liked Star Wars, even the prequels *shot* if only for the infamous sand scene. "I hate sand. But you Padme, you are not like sand. And that is why I love you."
Carebears Movie also holds a place in my heart - the songs are appalling but hilariously addictive. And it introduced me to the idea of EVIL BOOKS. Which is monumental somehow.
A movie I hate? Anything with MK&A. Good God, how did they come into being.

I have never hated my life as much as when I watched 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra'. Worst piece of crap I've ever seen.

Why did you even watch this ?
I'm surprised no one quoted Kubrick's movies yet. They surely deserve to be mentioned here.

The Lord of the Rings. They did a great job adapting the book and all.

Re: Favourite and least favourite movie/s?
@ Candish: ever seen the other two Care Bears movies? I swear the second one must have pioneered the babyfur fetish x: Better still, seen the Nostalgia Critic's take on the first one?
One of my favourite movies is Watership Down. Sure there are some gruesome scenes there, but it's one that I could indeed watch time after time cause it's down to earth, plus Bright Eyes is a lovely haunting song for it. I was pretty young when I first saw this; kids can't just see overly happy shit all the time.
Some of the worst movies I've seen includes the League of Gentlemen movie. Tagged along to see this in the cinema and I got so disappointed by how unlike the TV series it was. How I didn't fall asleep at that flashback scene I don't know.

Re: Favourite and least favourite movie/s?
I loved Watership Down and still do! Sure it was very violent, but kids in that period in time had lots of violent shows, like Tom and Jerry, Loony Tunes, etc. Nowerdays, however, they replace that stuff with fart jokes. I swear, once you've heard one person farting you've seen them all.StaceyW wrote: One of my favourite movies is Watership Down.
