I did keep walking in dog piss (since he couldn't hold it he'd piss in the hall all the time), so the only one good thing is that won't happen anymore. :P

Still kind of sad though having to let him go.

EDIT: He's gone, he went pretty quickly after the injection at least. :(

Yeah he used to be pretty obese, but you can see when he got sick he really started to become pretty thin. :P

Sorry to hear that, Steo! At least you did the right thing when he started getting really sick.

Oh yeah it made more sense than to leave them to suffer. It's not a nice thing but it's still better than leaving them in that state.

Let's mourn our deceased family dogs together mate. Our cairnie cross Jessie passed away on Friday following some major issues with her legs. She was 15 and couldn't have lived a better life with the family. The pic here was from around 5-6 years ago doing what she did best (getting cuddly while you used a laptop).

Oh wow, 15 is a good age for a dog. Still though, it's sad to see a pet go. My condolences...

Sorry to hear that Stace. :(

If she liked laptops, did she ever walk all over the keyboard, or is that only a cat thing? :P

I've never had dogs walk on the keyboards here but I always hear people complaining about their cats doing it. :P

Lol yeah she did do that, in her younger days she was even capable of climbing onto the top edge of the sofa and sit there like a cat. She really was a funny doggo and we're all going to miss her.

Thanks fellas. My parents got a new puppy yesterday (my dad especially couldn't bear the silence), another terrier type. From what little I saw during a video call I had this pup is very cute and I hope to see her for real in the near future.

Recently we had a bitch who had pups. She had 8, and one died, but so far the other 7 are ok.

Oh boy, I can't imagine taking care of that many puppies myself! I'm sorry about the little puppy that died though! :(

Also I somehow missed the recent posts above about Cairnie's dog but my late condolences.

Usually that happens where one doesn't survive, but 7 is still a lot and I don't know what we'll do with them lol.
