I guess it is settled, then.
The title has been edited and that might be the last edit for it too hopefully. Yeah, it should be.

I was thinking for the next challenge we should totally take on the PS1 version of Rayman 2 since I'm doing videos on those next. What do you all think?

Yeah. The PS1 Version can be the next one for the challenge. It should be interesting since The Grolgoth's A.I. is somehow programmed to fight harder in the first phase of this version.

We can do the Two game speedrun bit sometime after it.

I'll keep updating this post as time goes by:
Rayman DS

Escape from the Prison Ship:
After fiddling with controls, The Jonster begins the game. Despite struggling a little, he managed to make it to the fall in 00:00:35:66

The Woods of Light:
After initial struggling with the controls, The Jonster begins and subsequently fails to do a cutscene skip like R4Y_ANC3L. More complications result in him finishing in 00:04:11:30

The Fairy Glade:
After changing the controls a little, The Jonster is able to get through the level pretty quickly, with minimal dying, with the exception of the Pirahna in the side area before the Robo-Pirate, causing him to repeat the area. Otherwise the level went smoothly, and he finishes within 00:15:47:99. However due to his computer crashing he must do the level over, not that it changes anything.

The Marshes of Awakening:
Oh dear, as The Jonster feared, the controls are going to heavily weigh this match in R4Y's favor. The Jonster made several silly mistakes in the beginning, such as missing the switch or missing cages, and knowing his perfectionist attitude, he won't let that slide. Add to that the repeated screw-ups made by Sssam himself, such as driving the cord through a post?!??!? In the end this level was a complete and utter failure with The Jonster finishing in 00:08:07:55.

The Walk of Life:
Compared to his N64 walkthrough, didn't go so great. But The Jonster was able to pull through and finish despite almost always nearly running out of time and ended with 00:02:50:62.

The Bayou:
Despite failing with barrel jumps the last time, The Jonster was able to do them all flawlessly. However he did mess up a few times with the first purple lum. Also as he was finishing the round he was distracted by a librarian informing him the library was about to close soon. while the clock was running. To remedy this, he deducted one second from the timer to come to a finish of 00:06:23:62. Not too bad, he guesses.

The Sanctuary of Water and Ice:
The Jonster struggled with the slide, falling off 3 times due to his perfectionism. However everything else went quite smoothly, and he used several strategies to good use, such as skipping the initial robo-pirate and using a powder keg on the other. Regardless, the struggle with the slide was punishing, almost enough to finish later than R4Y, which would irritate The Jonster since this is his favorite stage. He still manages to squeak through with a time of 00:07:34:92.

The Menhir Hills:
Part 1 - The Jonster had absolutely no trouble with the walking shell sections this time, though he still skipped nearly everything. However he usually started them going in the wrong direction. He still was able to pull off a decent 00:02:56:83 when going to see Clark. (added 20 seconds due to the fact that I forgot the cutscenes had to be played through)
Part 2 - It seems the controls for the walking shell were much easier for The Jonster in this version as he was able to accomplish those sections fairly easily. In hte end after reaching the cutscene towards the spiral door, he made 00:07:20:50 overall.

The Cave of Bad Dreams:
While the Jonster initially did well, things like disappearing platforms and the slide controls ruined him. The battle against Jano was also not very good, as he screwed up at the last stretch and could not implement his usual shortcuts when dealing with him. The time that he ended with after selecting no was 00:16:28:58. Disappointing indeed!

The Canopy:
Just starting off went pretty bad. The Jonster, unlike last time, decided to skip fighting the spider, thinking it would take too long. Big mistake, as the spider was relentless and caused him to lose 3 minutes of time. Other challenges included a glitch where Globox would speak even though he was not freed and near the end when Jonster failed to get on the top for the 5-lum thrice. These errors caused Jonster to finish in 00:11:07:08.

Whale Bay:
The Jonster had trouble with the walking shell section. AGAIN. After repeated failures he eventually made it to the blocked off room and got the things he needed. This has left the Jonster at a time of 00:10:42:31

The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire:
The walking shell controls seem to be more controllable for The Jonster, as he made it through his toughest area without much difficulty. The rest of the level, however was unforgiving as faulty controls, random screw-ups and terrible jumps caused The Jonster to reach the second mask within 00:35:56:16.

The Echoing Caves:
Before Fairy Glade Secret - The Jonster once again struggled with the keg, but otherwise it went pretty alright from the beginning to the Fairy Glade secret. He makes it in 00:06:47:34.
The Fairy Glade Secret - Besides one miss into the water, everything went without a hitch, and The Jonster returns to the Echoing Caves in 00:02:28:17
After Fairy Glade Secret - After returning, this level turned from a normal one to a hellish nightmare for The Jonster. After getting through to the third phase, a LOT of struggles ensued in riding the keg, failing numerous times. He struggled most with the second keg, just trying to get out of the fucking cave was an ENORMOUS challenge for this veteran. Unfortunately the keg gods have decided to be punishing him, as he failed several hundred times to get out and restarted the entire phase no more than 5 times. This round was practically given to R4Y. 00:13:54:64

The Precipice:
The Jonster had unfortunately forgotten to post his time before resetting, so R4Y is automatically declared as the one who cleared this round first. Time for Jonster is defaulted to 99:99:99:99

The Top of the World:
The Jonster initially had trouble with the chair. Afterwards everything went alright, though he had slight problems with jumping over the barrels. More DK practice is still needed. He ends with 00:10:33:79 as his time.
Omg these controls are AWFUL!!

The Walk of Power:
The Jonster did not struggle with this level as much as he did in The Walk of Life and actually did pretty alright. He ended with 3 power fists and a time of 00:02:15:72.

The Sanctuary of Rock and Lava:
The Jonster did not struggle a lot with the nenuphar this time. However he still made some errors, but still pulled through with a time of 0:11:17:35. The Jonster is getting used to the controls he put down.

Beneath The Sanctuary of Rock and Lava:
Once again, The Jonster found no real challenge here, as his flying skills were phenomenal. He blazed through the entire area and Foutch with no real trouble at all, ending with a time of 00:07:48:76.

Tomb of the Ancients:
Not so great. The Jonster had errors, but hopefully not too many to fall behind. Darn kegs caused him to finish at 00:22:51:38

The Iron Mountains:
Once again, Jonster struggled a little with the walking shell section. This time, however, The Jonster decided to fuck it and skip the lums under the menhirs since the mechanical thing was too much for him to handle. After the cutscene with Polokus, he finished at 00:22:54:20.

The Prison Ship:
This is where the controls really screwed The Jonster. Not only did he kept messing up the slide, but the third phase got too much for The Jonster that he almost started making savestates, and he missed a lot of lums, very unusual for someone like him. Thankfully, he finally pulled through with a time of 00:23:04:83. Though he was still skipped straight to the Crow's Nest.

The Crow's Nest:
The Jonster struggled a little bit in the beginning, but in the end was able to pull a victory against Razorbeard and defeated him in 00:08:49:88 before the ending cutscenes played! And with that the Jonster's challenge is complete. Can R4Y pull off a come-from-behind victory???

I think if we're going to do this then it would make more sense to bring back Ray502's topic "Challenge Of The Month". That way it could be about any Rayman game and it could be a bit of fun :)
