Music is selective. I just feel Rayman 2's soundtrack isn't as good as the other Rayman soundtracks. Those have variety in genre and instrument, Rayman 2 doesn't.

Some rips of Rayman 2 DC contain malformed or non-existant music tracks to reduce space. Try downloading another rip, but with a larger file size.

I would also advice you to go to the sound options and change the buffer size to 2048.

Does anyone know where I could find some R2 textures (in a viewable format like png or something)?
I'm specifically looking for some ivy or vines or some sort of foliage like that as reference material

Hmm, don't think they're readily available. You could try ripping them, we have a thread for it.

It's all right, I think I'll do without them, I found some screenshots of the game with vines in so that should do

Does anyone know where can I download the Full version of Rayman 2 for the Dreamcast, please? I downloaded 3 of them but they don't have music, thanks and regards. Also, I configured the memory card but in Rayman 2 it says that there isn't a memory card inserted :s.

I suggest having a look in the emulation thread for the memory card problem.
As for the game, have you tried out sites like emuparadise or snes-o-rama?

I tried in emuparadise, I'll try with snes-o-rama.
And thanks, I'll take a look in that thread.

theisozone usually provides good dumps, yes. In fact, I couldn't find a good dump of Rayman [NTSC-U] for the PSX anywhere else.

Thank you very much for the name of the unripped game, I'm downloading it right now, thank you!
, it's the last version of Rayman 2 I haven't played.

I don't know if this has been found before but while exploring the Rayman 2 textfile on PC I found the dialogue for the exclusive Prison Ship cutscene that only appears in the Dreamcast version (I know there is a similar cutscene for the ps2 version, but the dialogue I found follows the Dreamcast version exactly). This most likely means it was meant to be in the PC version as well but didn't for unknown reasons.

Many scrapped stuff are often found in PC files so no surprise.
