Well done Darnok! This IL run of yours illustrates pretty well what you said about 100% glitchless since you're pretty much taking shortcuts for every secret room there is. I can't say I'd find 100% glitchless painful though, since it's my favorite level, but I must admit it would be way too long for a speedrun.

Thanks!

100% ILs of Cave of Bad Dreams, Whale Bay, Tomb of the Ancients and Iron Mountains are coming soon - my viewers on YouTube will vote for the order! :)

There you have it! Man, I would really hate to speedrun the first part of this level with the switches on the hexagonal platform, it always takes me ages to disable that electric ray. :fou2:

Yes, one of the switches is clearly broken - Rayman aims a wrong spot - you can either hit that switch before you land on the platform, try a lot, or just skip the thunder. ;D

Yeah, the auto-aiming on that switch is borked. I've always wondered if that was on purpose to make it more of a challenge… Either way, that sequence is a nice lesson on the Coriolis effect. :hap:

Coriolis, but apparently affecting 1 out of 2 switches only. :P

Well yeah, but even if they hadn't messed that up (on purpose?), the "curving" fist would still be a nice illustration!

Yes, as you mentioned - and additionally because there was apparently no Any% IL for Whale Bay yet. ;)

Yeah, after practising those air swims you might as well put them to use for more. Also, I guess you're heading to that last cage first because waiting for the Teensie gives you time to get the remaining Lums, right?

Yes, exactly - in 100% run I get the last lums after freeing Teensie, as I would have to wait anyways.
In some levels in could also skip waiting for Teensie - by deathwarping, level the room, etc. - but not in this level. ;)

Can you give me an example? I'm not sure how this would work.

Well, in my Any% run I use it in Echoing Caves (that's why I die right after destroying the final cage) and in Top of the World (I deathwarp not only to shorten my way, but also to avoid escorting Teensie to the end). In Canopy (look at my All Masks or 100% run) you can leave the room and re-enter it, which skips the dance. The same can be done in Rock & Lava (but it is not worth it).
