This was a great season. Dancaa really demonstrated deep knowledge. I must say that (other than the last question), I don't think I could have answered most of the questions he did, even if I got to them first.

The questions themselves were also very interesting this time, including picture questions, and questions involving multiple objects and multiple games. Thank you, Ray502!

Looking forward to the next one. :D

The final scoreboard, below:

Dancaa - 10 points + 1 bonus -> 600 Tings
dr_st - 9 points + 1 bonus -> 350 Tings
The Jonster - 7 points -> 75 Tings
PluMGMK - 4 points
Hunchman801 - 3 points

Just gimme a sec to hand out the prizes. But anyways, what an enjoyable but close round! As always, this was a lot of fun! I guess I still need to play more Rayman, that last question was something I really didn't know. Congratulations to Dancaa, and see you back in 2 weeks! :teuf: :partyhat:
Always be true to yourself.

Alright people. Two weeks have gone by and you know what that means. It’s time to test your Rayman knowledge again. Welcome to season 132 of the Teensies Quiz!

So let’s get started with an easy question to get the ball rolling.

In Rayman 3, what iconic spaceship can be spotted in the background of one of the teensie highway levels?

Correct! The Enterprise can be seen in the background of the Teensie Highway behind the word “love”.

Score

Hunchman801 - 1

Question 2. Rayman Legends features a number of rhythm based levels set to licensed songs. But two of the rhythm levels feature their own original music. Which two levels are they?

I'm not even sure what it really looks like but I definitely remembered reading about that. :lol:

dr_st is correct. Mariachi Madness uses Eye of the Tiger which is a song by Survivor.

Question 3. Rayman 1 takes place in the Valley but earlier in development there was a different name for Rayman’s world. What was it called?

TriangulumDelta is correct! Hereitscool was the name of the game’s world when the setting would have been a computer program made by a boy called Jimmy. And what a good decision it was to change that.

Score

TriangulumDelta, dr_st and Hunchman801 - 1

Question 4. The highest combo rank in Rayman 3 is “Serial Shooter”. But in earlier builds including those seen on demo discs it was different. What was the original highest combo rank?

Ray502 is correct! In demo builds the “Holy Sheet” stamp appeared when your combo was high enough but it was replaced with “serial shooter” in the final game. Likely to avoid trouble with the ESRB.

Score

Ray502, TriangulumDelta, dr_st and Hunchman801 - 1

Alright let’s jump to the handheld side of things series for a bit. Rayman DS is a port of Rayman 2 for said console but it has a few issues not present in the N64 original that it’s based on. Other than an inconsistent frame rate, what are three examples of technical issues with this version of the game?

Collision detection is poor: sometimes Rayman can clip through walls or get stuck. Rayman can fall off Umber even during the cinematic of Umber walking through the lava.

Alright it’s been a few days so let’s try a different question.

Question 5. Rayman 3 has a large amount of Hoodlums to fight. But there’s one particular variety that you can see in action but never actually fight. Who knows which one that is?
