The haircut is similar but it's a Teensie, so I doubt it. The hair color is different too.

Considering he appears in a soccer-related picture and also in RayGamer99's screenshot of the portal that leads to Kung Foot Island, I'm pretty sure that's Mr. Soccer and not the musician. Luckily.

Gotta say, it seems to me like her bio is actually a rather interesting one, maybe because we didn't really have any information about her in Legends? It feels like they wanted to keep an aura of mistery around her given how she seems to not like to talk about her past and how she bonded with the others which is rather interesting considering her bubbly personality. Or maybe they simply kept it as generic as possible? I don't know if it's just me but this feels as if they are hyping her up to be a rather important character in the story

It sounds to me as though they're teasing the idea of exploring Barbara's origins at a later stage. Probably not in Legends, but maybe in the next game, if we ever get one?

FINALLY!

I was on a road trip yesterday, so I'm only just now seeing it. I agree that this bio is the most interesting of the bunch (probably since they didn't tell us jack squat about her before now ), and in terms of her personality, she lines up almost perfectly with how I envisioned her. However, I do wonder what else there is to say about her history?

The bio never says anything about her being a princess, so I wonder if they're getting rid of that part of her identity altogether? Legends called her a princess - then again, they called all of the Barbara characters princesses, even those who didn't at all seem like royalty, so maybe we should have always taken that with a grain of salt - then Adventures said she abandoned that life for that of an adventurer, so was she a barbarian before becoming a princess, or was it the other way around? And how does her sister Elysia fit into all of this? This is all so exciting!

A lost tribe of barbarians? If they are teasing us, I hope that the game reveals more about it. Otherwise, it would be quite a letdown.

I have a feeling this "she hasn't shared much about herself" is just a nice way of saying that there isn't much more to add to her character. I don't see them exploring this further in the future at all.

As much as I hope they do something with her, this was my number two reason as to why they kept it so mysterious around her in her bio lol either they are really. teasing us or they were very "smart" in keeping it as generic as possible

The place looks nice! A lot of the environments shown off look brand new, and the Mariachis look a lot more detailed and decorated than before. It's nice to see the Baby Dragon Chefs in 3D, seeing as they will likely be among a small group of enemies from Origins to be redone in the Retold style.

And yes, as we all probably expected, the duck forms are back here (and they look good as well). The idea is funny and they're overall inoffensive since you only spend two levels as a duck, but controlling them always felt like a real pace breaker and one of Legends's lower points in my opinion.
