Awesome. You're such a talented artist, I'm excited to see what kind of artworks you'll be inspired to make after making more progress into R2.
The DC version is an excellent choice!

Thanks for the update. The Marshes of Awakening can be a source of frustration, especially when you're determined to get every last cage and lum.Kiza/Raybox wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 11:23 am I am in the Mushrooms of Awakening right now. The difficulty I have with it is that I barely understand when to move and how I get all the cages broken. Plus I've been dying there. A lot, honestly. I'm currently taking a little break from R2 by playing R3 instead. I have some unfinished business to do there... the screenshots ain't ready yet, but will try my best not to abandon. I wish I wasn't the perfectionist ^^"
Especially on the first playthrough when your life bar is still very short.Hugo wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 11:37 am Thanks for the update. The Marshes of Awakening can be a source of frustration, especially when you're determined to get every last cage and lum.
Man, I'd completely forgotten about that very practical reasondr_st wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 11:41 am Especially on the first playthrough when your life bar is still very short.
Alright, time for some additions. I decided to play the game on PC Dreamcast Emulator (ReDream) instead and you know what? It was way easier to go further. Plus Ly was supporting Rayman (and by extension me) which made me encouraged!Kiza/Raybox wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 11:46 am OH right, I misspelled the level! My bad ^^"
Also thanks! I also think of optimizing my old laptop
I adore the gradient on the pause menu tbh.Kiza/Raybox wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 10:22 pm Alright, time for some additions.

Truly magical, ain't it? The literal dream-like fairy tale! Impressive!

My gods, ain't I loving this game!
I agree! It really captures the magical, surreal atmosphere of the game. One of a kind.
Good, because I had completely forgotten about it, despite being the author.
Congrats! What's your favorite level so far? If you ask me, the best is yet to come.Kiza/Raybox wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 6:46 pm I finally got the 1st mask!!! Yessssss! DA MAGICAL RING WORKEDDDDD!!
You know how much I'm happy right now!! Holy LUMS! I made it!
It made an impression on me, since it was still an active topic when I first joined, and seeing the main admin casually using such language in a topic title was so different from any other forum I'd seen up till then!Hunchman801 wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 7:24 pmGood, because I had completely forgotten about it, despite being the author.![]()
My fave from the levels so far is The Fairy Glade. Truly R2-coded, magnificent! I also like the cutscene from the 1st mask level (AKA The Sanctuary of Water and Ice, I was close to 100% it, but missed some lums during the ice-skating show [that's how I call the sliding])Hunchman801 wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 7:24 pm Congrats! I'm glad it didn't make you run away.PluMGMK wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 7:36 pm It made an impression on me, since it was still an active topic when I first joined, and seeing the main admin casually using such language in a topic title was so different from any other forum I'd seen up till then!![]()
I don't think Rayman 2 has really difficult bosses anyway. There are sections of regular gameplay that are much harder.Kiza/Raybox wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 7:51 pm I found fighting with Axel quite easy, it went pretty fast lol
All bosses are easy except for Razorbeard / Grolgoth.Hunchman801 wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 9:18 pm I don't think Rayman 2 has really difficult bosses anyway. There are sections of regular gameplay that are much harder.
