Sorry about the world typo, I can see why it might not be understandable... Those of you who didn't get it even if they did realise that it was meant to say world should hang themselves in shame - It was another quote (yay, I like quotes at the moment ), so if you didn't understand it, that's your problem.

Anyway, about 'comprenez'. It ends with 'ez', which in French can suggest that you're talking to someone you classify as 'vous' which means 'you' in plural form or 'you' in polite form (yes, in other languages there are different words for 'you'). Since you're talking to one person in that post, you have to mean the polite form.

IP stands for Internet Protocol. Spaceray, if your computers are linked to the same line, you should have the same IP adresse on them.

Well, the computers aren't connected, therefore the IPs will be different.
If someone hacks one, I'll use the other.

Did you hear of this 'Grid' thing that Microsoft came up with (at least I think it's called 'Grid'), which involved linking every single one of the computers in the world up to make one huge supercomputer that everybody used?

Caffeine (I spelt it wrong the first time) is naturally in tea leaves, although not as high as the concentration in coffe...

I have serious doubts about Microsoft being able to 'secure' anything. As soon as they publicly released this idea they were told by hundreds of concered computer-people to shut up, and this is what they did.

Joining every computer in the world up was always going to create more problems than it solved (when it comes to hacking, spreading viruses etc.)
