Pretty much most fanbases have idiotic fanboys or fangirls. I'm quite surprised to see Rayman doesn't have such a huge amount.

It's not like Sonic or Crash are bad games- the fanboys simply give it a bad rep, they are clearly very original and innovative games. (talking about the classic ones)
And I agree with you Oldclassicgamer. I think the gameplay for Crash is simple, yet very creative. But the fanbase just gives it such a horrible rep. You see, I recently talked with someone on youtube saying "FUCK YOU GUYS THE NEW TITANS GAMES ARE GREAT, PEOPLE JUST DISLIKE CHANGE."

That is a PRIME example of a fanboy, being a real fan means pointing what that company did wrong, the Crash fans on deviantart who say "If you don't like the new Crash games you aren't a real fan" are giving the fanbase an even worse reputation. Also I enjoyed the Crash games on ps2, and those games were a bit different from the original (excluding Wrath of Cortex). So it's not like we HATE change, but the change for Titans wasn't for the better it was for the worse, and the fans are DEFINETLY at fault for this.

I'm happy you're enjoying your stay here oldclassicgamer, I enjoy your videos, and I hope these forums will be most comforting to you. :)

Legends. Not because I haven't played GTA (And probably won't for a while) it just doesn't interest me really...

GTA is doing same thing as before, while Rayman got many new features, so it is a no suprise that GTA does not interest you.

Both a poor and false argument. Rayman Legends is hardly different from Origins at its core, and the same can be said for GTA IV - GTA V. However, Legends does have many new features over its predecessor, just like GTA V. If you have a strong, solid core that defines a franchise, why tamper much with it much? Rayman Legends takes Origins and brings it to the next level in terms of creativity, graphics, gameplay and style. Guess what? The exact same can be said about Grand Theft Auto V.

GTA IV set a new standard for sandbox games and storytelling alike, akin to what Origins did for the platforming genre. Both Legends and GTA V are a sigma of public reaction and experience from their respective companies, improving upon and potentially nearly perfecting their initial experiments (predecessors) in these sequels.

Also, for the record, GTA has not been 'doing the same thing' in the slightest. GTA II was a vast improvement upon GTA I, and after that they went for something new with GTA III. Vice City and San Andreas (basically sibling games) were vast improvements upon GTA III, and after that they went for something new with GTA IV. GTA V is now looks to be a mindblowingly vast improvement upon GTA IV, and considering the fact that Grand Theft Auto IV has been rated by many, many respected sites and reviewers to be one of the greatest games of all time, I don't see how anyone with a half-educated mind could even begin to say that GTA is 'doing the same thing as before.' Rockstar is one of the few companies around who I truly feel put their all into what they do. They spend years upon years developing single games, each unique even within their own franchises (while always containing most of the core elements that makes their franchises so wonderful), and the end result is always so full of blood, sweat, tears and soul.

Not to intentionally write a thousand-word essay on why I think your comment was grossly ignorant- actually, it was completely intentional; I'll take as long as I need to to explain myself. Minor's point I actually respect, and he's speaking rationally: he isn't not voting for GTA because he knows little to nothing about it, he's not voting for it because it doesn't appeal to him. He's being honest, and not trying to make a very under-educated statement.

I'm not acting fanboyish toward Grand Theft Auto, I'm simply saying that you should actually try and experience the games for a bit, or at the very least do some bloody research before basically flipping something off as a cash-in series.

Sure, I was planning to get both games anyway, but I will get Legends first. Your comment did made me think about what I said.

Rayman Legends takes my vote, especially after playing the demo on the Wii-U. I never played Grand Theft Auto.

It was a question. Both games are highly anticipated so both of them are gonna sell over million pretty fast in my opinion.

GTA V is gonna sell at least ten times better than Legends.

Yeah, the GTA brand is one of the best money printers out there. I have no doubt that Legends will still do well too, though, in spite of the delay.

If you sell a tenth of the copies GTA V will sell, you're actually doing quite well.

I'm curious as to who the other two GTA V voters were.

I was one of them. Looking forward to playing GTA5 much more than Legends. I doubt I'll even play Legends, to be honest.

Well, after all, in GTA you play as Gangsta. And since in Legends you can't play as Gangsta Globox, I completely understand you.

Gangsta Globox and Tobbe.

I know that most of you don't give an arse about Grand Theft Auto, but hoooollly shiiiiit! :D

I would simply be flabbergasted if this doesn't spark a sense of awe in anyone. Remember, if you're going to comment on it, watch the whole thing.

Never have I ever anticipated a game more in my life than this. It's unbelievable.

I saw this earlier, most impressive, my sibling, whose interests are more relevant to this kind of thing, seems to be considering GTA now.
