Bump. No news this year as of yet regarding the potential
Spooky Raymansion 5 (so it may be another year skip like for
Return if Ryemanni does ever make it), but I do have a few interesting things regarding the older games and mostly
TSR2!
I considered making a soundtrack video in the past when it was merely a trilogy, but I quickly decided against it as it's mostly just tracks from official Rayman games we already have on RayTunes and everywhere on YouTube...
But I did a bit of work on it back then, and so, here's a sort of album cover that I salvaged from a prototype thumbnail for it! Feel free to use it if you make your own personal custom album for the trilogy!
An older version without the extra "1" and "dashes", and with many disgusting rogue pixels mostly in the
TSR1 part:
So, by downloading an older compatible version of UndertaleModTool, I finally managed to check more of The Spooky Raymansion 2s data.win and looked at the rooms!
And I can finally put to rest one fear that may have plagued the mind of many players:
There's indeed no Lum hidden in Level X!
And while I still haven't solved the mystery of the seemingly unused Noseless Rayman face (fittingly named "dontopen", so it was the mysterious file I talked about years ago),
I did notice three suspicious sounds files that may either have shared the same fate or reinforce the theory of a secret that has never been found... They are named "doorbell", "key", and "thevault" and are all way too suspiciously creepy for what their names imply, especially the last one...
All these four files have in common the fact that there's no prefix ("s", "snd", etc.) for them unlike all the other files.
There seems to be no object counterpart for "dontopen", further confirming it isn't used...
At least, from analyzing all of the game's rooms and their list of objects, I couldn't find anything hinting at those things or any other secret, so the only way these things could be triggered in-game would be something like a cheat code if Ryemanni did implement one, but I doubt there's actually anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
