I have my ups and downs, there are definitely times where I relent and just end up walking to the shops to get a snack or some treats, but I don't order unless I'm in a social setting, so it takes a bit of active effort to get them.

At this point, I suppress cravings with a glass of OJ or a cup of tea, but then I'm not sure how healthy that is either

I also hate it when burgers turn soggy because they decide to put some kind of sauce on there that coats the entire thing and then your hands get all sticky and blabla you get it I hate burgers.

I can definitely get behind this sentiment!

When I'm playing video games or concentrating on something heavily i can ignore my hunger. Doesn't always work sadly.

I also echo this sentiment. I appreciate a good sauce, but I do not like having sticky hands.

It feels horrible to have the sauce go everywhere when you're eating anything like this. I just can't touch the computer or anything like that at all until I wash my hands.

Yeah, I get that. Whereas if I try to concentrate on something I don't really want to do, I become acutely aware of hunger

I don't tend to like playing games or having something that requires active handling while eating, I much prefer eating while in conversation or watching something for that reason. Cause I can feel the food there not being eaten if I'm doing something else.

Sometimes I'm so fixated on stuff that I forget to eat, in the same way as forgetting to sleep.

I kind of always make sure to be watching a show or video or something because I live alone. Eating is a social thing for me and that's how I grew up so that's how I replace that I guess.

Yeah I think that's very much how I feel about it too, we usually sat together to eat, and it feels right doing it that way rather than having something you're occupied with and food on the side.

Yeah a lot of people actually seem to like to watch something while eating. I actually do too, but I don't always bother to go somewhere with a TV. I could use my phone but sometimes I just eat quickly and go back to what I was doing.

Reminds me of when my dad once said it'd be great if I had four hands, because then I could play Rayman, do my homework and eat my dinner at the same time. But I don't think that's how coordination works

That's what I usually do, I eat while watching something on phone/computer!

I like do do that when possible. Sometimes because I'm just in the kitchen I don't bother though. When I'm up in the room I have the TV or the computer to watch anything I want while eating. In reality I should be doing that, it's more comfortable.

Wouldn't that be something!
Tbh it feels like Emmy's brother had that in the performance of Laika Party at the Eurovision, because he was able to mime marching while also playing the keyboard riff with his right hand!
