Re: Easter eggs?
The first R3 level in which there are plum-posts is Clearleaf Forest. Take a close look at one, and you'll see a little image of a Livingstone, referencing the way Rayman used to throw plums on their heads in R1.dingodile555 wrote:Seriously!? Wow! What level are the plums first in? I'm gunna check this out soon. I never knew about those.spiraldoor wrote:On the front of the Manual that Murfy reads from, there's a picture of Rayman as he looks in R1.
On the posts that you throw plums onto, there are tiny pictures of Livingstones from Rayman 1.
Can someone post a screenshot of the Electoons in R2 DC? It reminds me of an apparently precognitive dream of mine...

Yes but I feel the need to turn it on. Its very existance is what bothers me.Holy Crap wrote:Then don't turn it on.Xenon wrote:That Lums Radar thing kind of ruined the fun of hunting for missing Lums.

Re: Easter eggs?
I think that guy might have been referring to the Seven Dwarfs statues at the start of the Fairy Council. There's one with a guitar, which he might have thought was the musician from R1 but I really wish he would be more specific.
Cool Livingstone cameo! I think I may have saw it long ago, but I probably wasn't such a Rayman fan then and didnt realise who it was.

I like it too, but it would've been more harder without it.FAB wrote:I liked it.Xenon wrote:That Lums Radar thing kind of ruined the fun of hunting for missing Lums.

Re: Easter eggs?
I heard about Antitoons in the PS1 version but I had no idea there were Electoons in the Dreamcast version. Dammit I wish I had got Rayman 2 on PS1 when I saw it sooo cheap but I didnt know how different all the versions were when I saw it at that time. I want to see the Antitoons in PS1 and Electoons in DC.
The gnomes in Fairy Council are based off the Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (the Disney adaptation) or at least some of them are. There's one that is bearing the exact same colours as Bashful.
There's one Raymanian statue with a guitar there that might be a reference to the Musician and I think that's what that user was referring to.

Re: Easter eggs?
We need a bunch more 3D antitoon screenshots for Raywiki. And some 3D electoons pics wouldn't go astray.
Re: Easter eggs?
Did Ubisoft make the one in the avatar we use? I'd presume so because I don't think the Rayman 1 graphics had good enough quality to produce a 3d-ish character. They also made the Ly avatar, if anyone's bothered.

I think the antitoon in the rank is from Rayman Advance, I think it was on the menu or something :/
And what the hell, bunch of screenshots:
