Alright so I've watched Weapons (2025) and I don't get why this movie was so hyped. I was prepared for a disappointment and I was still pretty disappointed.

A 6/10 movie if I've ever seen one. Not a bad movie, not really good either.
What We Do In the Shadows (2014) was a great movie, 7/10, the TV show is a 9/10 at the very least for me and the movie basically just reminded me of the TV show. The TV show also took some ideas and scenes from the movie so it was a bit boring but still a pretty good watch.

Watched Fahrenheit 451 (the 2018 film) on a flight today since there was nothing better to do. OK, probably staring at the floor would have been better. I mean, if I had learned that this movie was the final project on someone's B.A. in cinematography, and got a "C", I would not have been surprised.
Oh yeah, I've heard that was made into a movie a few times, and every time it sucked. Which is strange because it seems like it would make a good movie. Maybe Ray Bradbury cursed it, since turning it from a book into a movie kinda goes against the message
Watched Four Weddings and a Funeral on Friday night, somehow I hadn't gotten around to it before. It was pretty nice, although I kept falling asleep because it had been such a long week

Well I always heard the film version from the 60s was pretty good?
Anyway that is pretty ironic now I think of it. That’d be like an adaptation of Animal Farm made by the USSR government.

Looks like I was entirely corrected about the lack of prospect for a Tron : Ares sequel :

I should be a movie critic or something.

I watched The Whale (2022) and found it pretty good. It's a movie where not much happens, focusing instead on atmosphere and acting. I probably wouldn't do a good job reviewing it, but I enjoyed it. 8/10.
By the way, any recommendations for good horror movies? I feel like I've seen all of the good ones already (and so many more bad ones), but maybe I missed something!

Did you watch The Autopsy of Jane Doe?
The first half of the movie is fine. In the second one, I think the director was killed, but still, it's an interesting movie

Yes, and I felt exactly the same as you about the end!

Very interesting movie, I found the first half to be more interesting than the second half as well.
That part where they try to leave the underground bunker and the guy who's supposedly outside starts singing that song was amazingly creepy though.

Finished Rachet & Clank... the movie.
I watched it only because I plan to emulate the games later (since apparently they're very good!), but that was maybe a mistake

I didn't understand a lot of stuff, but the visuals, characters, and world are gorgeous! This movie has a great style and is overall really creative. I don't think I dislike anything about this movie, other than it felt pretty fast.
But thankfully I'll be seeing more of this world when I get to playing the games.

It was a (pretty lame) retelling of the events of the first game. It's...a lot more pedestrian compared to the rougher nature of the game it takes inspiration from. Not that it's bad per se, but it's bland.

Booooo XD But yes, if you played Highway Blues in front of me, I'd listen to all of it.

Eight Crazy Nights
It was a good film to watch with the family a day after my birthday, despite me not liking Davey Stone's attitude at first.
Had some troubles with connecting the DVD player to the TV screen, but hey, at least we've managed to get it working through Amazon Prime Video!

Rewatched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, as Thanksgiving is this Thursday.
By far my least favorite of the main 3 Peanuts holiday specials (Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving), the characters feel more unlikeable than usual, the Snoopy gags just feel like plain padding (what was that chair scene??), and overall it feels a lot more bland and boring compared to the others. Still enjoy watching it though.
