Yesplease.

I wonder if I could ever get into metal modelling and make like a small statue or figurine. That would be pretty cool, no doubt.

Very Cool, and a metal cast of Razorbeard would be great. :P

For some odd reason, that looks like icing to me.
An edible Razor, hmm...
I agree that a statue of Razor would be pretty cool, particularly if it were articulated.

You'd get a bit of a sore throat though.

Anyone knows who voiced Rayman in the N64 version?

David Gasman.

So it was Gasman who did the gibberish? If he could do such a convincing job on that, why is his actual English voice acting so abysmal? He could have just used the same voice he used for the gibberish and spoken English in the PS1/PS2 versions.

I think it was him, at least. His name appears in the credits of both PC and N64 versions, that's a fact.

This is due to the light the camera registered on this picture. You can see the icy effect is far less important in the third one, which was taken in another context ;).

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure.

I shall praise him! Seriously, that some fluent gibberish language he can speak.

If you listen to the gibberish (especially Rayman's), you can hear some serious French influences in some of the sounds produced. This has always made me believe that it was a Frenchman who voiced it, though it could be Gasman putting on his finest French accent.

As it turns out, David Gasman does not voice Rayman in the N64 version of the game. I finally got my Controller Pak working again, so I popped in the Rayman 2 and beat the game again. I watched the credits, CORRECTION: and David Gasman is credited under: American Adaptation, whereas someone named David Neiss is credited under: Scenario and Dialogues, stating that he did all of the vocalizations heard in the game. This means it's also David Niess in the PC and Dreamcast versions as well. I'm pretty sure it's Gasman when you switch the voice settings to Raymanian in Rayman 2: Revolution though. :D It could also be possible that David Gasman had no involvement with the original release of the game anyhow, because the name is spelled David Gassman instead of Gasman, but it could be a spelling mistake.

Good find! It's a shame I can't find any videos or interviews of him, he may have just been someone random they had that could do a funny voice.

http://www.editionsmilan.com/63bla5d3/David-NEISS.htmlI think found an article on him, but it's in French(?), it has his name and it says "Rayman 2" in the paragraph, go ahead a take a look if you know any French.

Sorry for double posting, but in an even more bizarre twist of fate, David Neiss is actually the game's lead story writer as well as the story writer for Rayman 3, RaymanZone interviewed him back in 2003, you can read it on the Rayman Fanpage. This means that who the actual voice actor/actors is a mystery. :( I don't know why the link isn't working, it should. Just do a Google search for "David Neiss Rayman" and it should be one of the first results.

Indeed, Neiss wrote scenarios and dialogues in R2 and R3. He is known in France for having written some episodes of the "Dragon Hunters" serie. Nice! (I don't know if this serie is known out of France).

Not necessarily so; he could be the lead story writer and a voice actor, no?

Indeed, Shroobie, I don't think there is a rule or any guideline in place which prohibits the writer from having a VA role.
Going off the current subject matter, I've always wanted a proper Hench 800 action figure, I personally think such a thing would be rather cool.

Now it is confusing...

@Master MacDonalds Henchman 800 figure? Well, I think it is well made.
