I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt with the duplicate characters just being an homage to each of their designs and nothing to take seriously, because otherwise it's really going to suck if we end up with a thousand versions of each character coexisting within the lore!
We already had enough of a "Dark Raymen problem"!

Anyway, I think none of these standees should be interpreted literally... otherwise some like the Mr Dark + Raymesis one imply nonsensical scenarios like Mr Dark and Bad Rayman defeating the hybrids at the end of Rayman 1!

Wow, I can't believe they would reference the Japanese version of Rayman GBC in this day and age!

Yeah, I've interpreted the various scenes on the photoboards as an artist's depiction of various characters and events in-universe. They aren't meant to be taken literally, the artist (either the photographer himself or perhaps Rayphael) just painted them on the standee.

Sorry to double-post, but I figure this is kind of important. I just noticed this little bit of info on the description for the game's trailer on YouTube:

Maybe they'll change course on this before the game releases (and I remember a French PS blog saying that it would be available separately, so maybe this is just a mistake?), but according to the description it sounds like you won't be able to get the game separately.

The IGN account on Xiaohongshu mistakenly posted a Final Fantasy video with the title and description of Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition.

Considering this track name is now official, it's definitely canon now.

My favorite standee has to be the one featuring the mad drummer and that tiny moth enemy. They look really good in the UbiArt style. It feels like a massive tribute to the series' history!

He casts evil fireflies with his tail, that's even better!
