Rayman Animated Series FAQ

So you might all be aware that it was I who uploaded all four episodes the Rayman Animated Series on Youtube last year. While I don't really give a toss about it being flagged anymore, I'm more concerned about the number of comments I've been receiving on them. So, instead of having to answer the dumbest ones, and in case you don't have a Youtube account, I'm gonna post an FAQ about this cartoon [based on real comments]:
Where's the intro?
I didn't upload it because it's not really worth watching. Personally, I didn't like the theme song, and the video is made of clips from episodes. On the French DVD it only appears after No Parking.
Who are these other guys?
They're performers from Rigiatoni's intergalactic circus who escaped with Rayman's help. The red haired girl is called Betina, the mole is Cookie, blue rabbit thing is LacMac, little flying fairy is Flips.
What about Globox, Ly, Murfy and the others? Where are they? And why is Razorbeard in this?
My strongest guess is that Razorbeard must have captured Rayman from his first world [Dream Forest etc] and took him to another planet populated by grub creatures. He works for Rigatoni, who takes his circus from planet to planet capturing slaves. The series was made in 1999, so I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that it may have happened before OR after the events in Rayman 2.
How many episodes were there?
Only four episodes were made, and aired briefly in Germany [along with perhaps France and the Netherlands if my knowledge serves me right] some years ago. A VHS with all four of them is available in the USA, along with a French one found in France and Belgium. It is also on DVD in last two said countries, which contains the English, French and German dubs along with a few Ubisoft games ads.
What happens after Big Date?
Because only 4 episodes were made, it may seem to have been left on a cliffhanger, but I don't think so much. What they do after that episode is something we might never know...Maybe they did escape from that planet, or get captured again.
Why does Rayman's sound retarded?
Rayman was voiced by Billy West in this series [a number of other prolific voice actors such as Carolyn Lawrence and Kath Soucie also starred], but why he made him sound like a drunk Australian I don't know.
Rayman started out as a cartoon?
Of course not. Whatever gave you that idea? =/
Where can I get this?
Through good regular searching on eBay you might be able to get a copy of either the DVD or VHS from sellers based in France, Belgium or perhaps another location. Most copies should be about €10 if there is a buy-it-now option, though some might go cheaper. Most importantly though is to make sure that the seller accepts Paypal and is willing to ship to your country. It's a rare DVD, but the USA VHS is even rarer.
Why doesn't Rayman use his powers in this?
He still uses his helicopter hair.
I think that about covers it. Feel free to ask your own if you want to, so long as it's not about transfering the episodes by email [seriously, it was a major bitch to do that and I don't want to do that several times more]
