I wonder if anyone can provide any further insight regarding this Rayman-model present on this Mario Kart-game, as seen on this image on this following website, and possibly even validate the image´s authenticity. Here is the link: http://wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/Rayman

It's a hack someone made, it's not actually in the game :P

Do you know how to reproduce this hack, and whether or not it will work on any emulators?

Yeah, looks great. Sadly the sound effects are all Birdo which is awkward.

Also, that Rayman Legends theme remix is tight.

Yeah, that's the only problem.

Ah yes, I saw that hack before. It is really neat in my opinion as one.

Looks good but I dislike how person was lazy to change Birdo icon on finish screen to Rayman icon and how sound effects are Birdo ones. At least if he could have not put Rayman sound effects, he should have muted it.

Yep definitely a hack. Hacked my Wii and got the Rayman model working. It is not that hard if you know how to do it. But you need Homebrew channel for it.

I'll maybe try it too with my old Wii.

Hacking Wii is easy a lot and nowdays there are methods for it that work 100% without any chance of bricking console.
Great thing to do for mods and playing games from other regions.

Um, he did? The video's audio is replaced by a jammin' remix of the Rayman Legends theme.

Um, you just contradicted your earlier statement when you said
"Sadly the sound effects are all Birdo which is awkward."

This is what I referred to. Why the fuck did he leave Birdo sound effects?

I was talking about use of the model in general, not the video. So if you want to actually play with it, you'll hear Birdo, but watching the video posted above you won't.

Well, my complaint was not about video but mod itself. I want to be able to hear either Rayman's sound effects instead of Birdo's or nothing at all when playing the game and not changing icon at all proves how lazy he was.

I don't know if I'd call it laziness--replacing the audio is likely a totally different, possibly more difficult, process. I'd love to hear Rayman sound effects too, but I don't think there's any need to denounce the modder as lazy.
