Rayman Pirate-Community

Hello there,

I have a dream : an animated series based on the universe of Rayman, after the events of Rayman 3. Currently french student in 2D animation, I want to make this series to improve myself and try some softwares like After Effects for example. A first version of a trailer has been finished recently, with Rayman 2 "voices" and subtitles in english (but by a french, be careful ).

This trailer will be uploaded on my Youtube channel Gnaax, so if you want to give your opinion, give ideas to upgrade the final render, you'll be welcome!
Also, this will not be the final render of the future series, even the same animation style. The first goal is to try things in link with 2D animation, but based on the Rayman universe.

I think I will make a second version with an animation frame per frame, because motion-design can be too motionless.

I'm not sure to keep the raymanian. Look at subtitles and listen to the strange language is difficult if the timing is not good.

And maybe I will choose Rayman musics instead of Infinity War theme!

Raymanian is good. Avengers theme should definitely be replaced with a Rayman song, but you seem to know that already. If you ever need help with any of the writing and grammar, shoot me a PM and I'd be glad to assist you, since English isn't your first language (though you still have a great grasp of it).

Yeah, I'll keep working on it, don't worry! Currently, I'm working on a second trailer with big upgrades, like the dynamism, a music from Rayman, and a different graphic style. It'll be an animation frame per frame this time.
For the future, I'm pretty sure I'll ask to several friends for dubbing the serie with me, because Raymanian is probably good, but kind of annoying for an entire serie.

And my gosh, you confirmed I can write in English and be understood , that means a lot for a french ! If I need some help, I'll not hesitate to ask, thank you!

Since the october 12, I work on a second trailer as I said in my previous post here. But during the october month, I participated to the Inktober 2019, an artistic event which consists to draw something on a subject each day. So I had less time to work on my trailer, but I'm still working on it currently!

We are on the good way, I can tell ...

Some little chara-design of Deus the Teensie, Ly the Fairy and Kikux the Knaaren just to wait before the next animatic of the next trailer comes out...And thanks to those drawings, you can already see the new graphic style I want to use.

I don´t link the art-style. May be make it more Disney rather than Cartoon Network-y?

For a moment I thought that the Teensie had 2 pairs of sunglasses. I don't know if I've said this before, but I like that Ly is wearing different pieces of clothing instead of one full body suit.

Long time no see! I'm still working on the project, and so I can give some informations about the progress.

I need to make more character design and finish the animatic of the second trailer. If everything's allright, I'll upload it next week.
For the full animated version, you'll have to wait until more than 4 or 5 months, because I really don't know how much work the school will give to me, and don't know when I'll start to animate. In addition to this, I need a lot of time just to think about this project, how I'll make this ect...Don't want to be too fast and do bad work.

For sure, I'll not animate at 24 fps. Don't want to die for now.

There it is, the animatic of the second trailer for my Rayman fan serie, more dynamic than the previous one! I'll need to do more chara-design, animatics and animations...and upload more than one video in five months
