Here are the rules, more are soon to come. Yeah seriously, more rules are to come.

• Don't post stupid articles.
• Don't spam up the wiki at all.
• Any attempts at vandalising an article will be reverted and such constant behaviour will have the offender blocked.
• Raywiki is for encyclopedic information about the Rayman series, so articles to do with fan creations (fanfiction, pairings etc) are not permitted.
• Do not submit inappropriate and offensive images to the wiki. These will be removed as soon as seen and users will be warned.

Yeah, I think that those were good links, I would like it if more people had ideas for the rules.

Thank you for posting the rules, Jman By the way, maybe we should allow non-encylopedic articles one day. Not all of them though, we'll have to add new rules. Anyway, it's too early.

Eqhem. Currently, this is not a problem, but does it include a bit known fangames? (If they would be created, of course.)

So far, we're sticking to official encyclopaedic information. However, we might allow creating articles about Rayman communities, fan-art and fan-games in the future, but we'll have to think of new rules first.

I really think fan-art and fan-games are a no go but I think communities like RZ should be mentioned into the wiki.

This will have to be discussed. Fire under Siege is an example of important fan-game (yet not finished...), as well as RaymanBD is one of the oldest and most ambitious art projects. People using the wiki as an art gallery would be a good thing because it would bring more people there, but they would have to make the difference between official stuff and fan-art.

I don't think that they should use it as an art gallery (that is what deviant art is for), unless we create a certain side of the wiki that is made strictly for those who want to create an article about them self and use it for their gallery.

Eeee... maybe RayFanWiki logo in fan articles and a bit other layout instead?

I'm mocking up the rules in my own userpage at the moment, and I had a thought about fan related stuff. When I said that they're not permitted, I meant solely fan-pairings and fan characters [people who live by the former greatly annoy me], though other communities, fans themselves [with their consent of course], important fan games I think might be acceptable.

Edit: for now I created the article but I protected it in case any anons try to ruin it just because they don't like them. Every wiki has to have rules after all.

You should make a section on the main page for policy articles. That would be an alright thing to put since it's a relatively small Wiki (compared to something like Wikipedia, albeit larger than most user-developed Wiki systems) and so people could find them. I would, though I've still got too much to do yet to be able to.

Good idea. In fact the whole of the main page could do with a makeover really and truly.

I agree, I think we should maybe redo the theme of it as well.

Can we include information about the creators of the games? Because there are links to articles about Michel Ancel and Eric Chevalier, but those pages aren't written yet.

When we gather up a load of legit information [not stupid made up crap like "oh ya he's making Rayman 4"], we can.

Eric's new website has an english and french email address up (and thats it pretty much).
We could get someone here to interview him to get some info for the wiki.

He may feel more comfortable if I interviewed him in French. We have to know what to ask him first anyway.

Wait... UltraJMan is on Raytunes? I thought he was on Youtube only....
