Rayman Pirate-Community

Hiya everyone.
Just for anyone wondering who Saxdue26 is, that's me (check my signature).

Alrighty. I'm planning to make three 2D Rayman games. Here's the list:
- Rayman: The Darkness Returns (100% original idea)
- Rayman Advance 2 (2D advance-style R2)
- Rayman Advance 3 (2D advance-style R3 that actually follows the plot of R3)

I'm looking for sprites for all three of these games. I'm not working on these games at the present time, but I will once I finish my Sonic game (yes, you will have to wait).

I'll need numerous sprites as the only one's I currently have (or can rip from games) are of:
- Rayman (2 and 3 style)
- Murphy
- Ly
- Some Teensies
- Ssssssam (I think)
- Regular Robo-Pirates
- Jano
- Grolgoth
- Piranhas
- Zombie Chickens
- Spider
- Blob worm things (from R2)
- Black Lums (in fact nearly all kinds of lums)
- All the R1 characters
- And a few objects

I would greatly appreciate people's help and if you do help you will get full credit and be mentioned in the game's credits.

Thanks for the links, but I listed all of the sprites that I had avaliable to me.
But it does mean that I have less sprites to rip. Thanks anyway Sabertooth1000000000!

Oh, and I would prefer Rayman PS1 or PC sprites as opposed to Rayman Advance, as there was some colour loss in the port, as well as pixelation.


EDIT: The Lums that I plan to use are the ones from Hoodlum;s Revenge, as they are styled like the Lums in Rayman 2.

There is lots of Raymanfangamemakers here, it seems.

You have a point. It would be more logical to start before I ask for sprites.

The problem is that I can't start without sprites, as I need sprites of Globox for Rayman Advance 2.
Also, I'm working on another project at the moment (or more starting it again from scratch) and I want to get that done first.

You can find sprites of Globox and a lot of other stuff you could use. Hopefully the bump I caused wasn't too big...

Getting a bit more specific, does anyone have any 2D Globox sprites that they'd like to contribute/post or know where I could find some? The sprites from RavingRabbids GBA are ok, but I need sprites of him walking and actually doing stuff (like in R2). The Hoodlum's Revenge sprites won't work because they're isometric.

And sorry, but I don't think any full 2D Globox sheets exist right now, not in a game or anything. You could make some, but that would take weeks.

That's fine, it's alright. I'm not really into much GameMaker stuff now anyways. It was more a spirit of the moment thing. I only really started doind it cause one of my friends did, but then came to the realisation that maybe I was doing the things he wanted to do instead of the things I wanted to do.

...maybe I should close this topic, seeing as I've stopped with GameMaker (possibly for good), but the sprites seem to be helping a lot of people out so I'll leave it open.
