Wiki Alliance

Hi, I am the founder of Kid Icarus Wiki which is a member of a video game wiki alliance. It's pretty much a behind-the-scenes alliance where wikis can ask each other for help (interlinking when appropriate, sharing ideas, giving suggestions to other wikis, etc). I asked one of RayWiki's bureaucrats (Hunchman 801) if this wiki wanted to join. Hunchman said he was interested, but he would need someone to act as a "representative" I guess. This "representative" would just have to check the alliance's home page every two weeks or so and take part in alliance discussions. This shouldn't take more than 10 minutes each week. This is really open to anyone who is interested - multiple members if you want. As soon as this wiki finds someone, the alliance will be able add RayWiki to its home page. You can see our discussion here. Anyway, thank you for your time!

I thought people would show some interest in that. I'll talk with Hunch about that anyway !

Aren't we allied with a BG&E Wikia?

I'm not too sure. It's mentioned in the documentary.

RPC used to be affiliated with the BG&E wiki, but now that wiki doesn't appear anymore in the Affiliates section, I wonder what happened.

The IRIS Network wiki? I remember seeing that in the documentary, and I think I consulted it once or twice. It's only in English, right?

I believe it's because they removed the entire affiliates section from their home page, causing us the remove the link on our side too.

What did they do that for?

I think they just revamped the home page without giving much thought to their partners.

Hm. That was pretty careless of them.

Did you try to contact the founder of the site?

Unfortunately I don't really have time for this! I might try later, though. :hap:

Cool! It'll be nice to get BG&E back on RPC's radar in an official capacity, even if only through an affiliation!

Btw, the Gaming Cosmos and the IRIS Network are still mentioned in this page. I guess they should be removed for the time being.

Good catch! Especially Gaming Cosmos, since it's just gone. :(

Well, there isn't a lot of wikia websites in French. Or if they exist, they haven't got a lot of content.
There is more wiki websites in French, but I don't know if one of them talk about Beyond Good and Evil. I think not. What a shame.
Beyond Good and Evil Myth is a pretty good French website about the game, though.

Should they be entirely removed, or should we keep a sentence telling RPC was affiliated with them during some years?
