Rayman Pirate-Community

Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I was active here on RPC, and that's because together with Said and Lepidopterus, we're creating a fantastic fangame/mod of Rayman Legends called "Rayman Origins 2". We're working on a new story, levels, characters, and more. We all contribute ideas and design level sketches for Origins 2. We've come up with so many ideas that it's hard to pinpoint who exactly created each part of the fangame, haha!

Description:
Rayman Origins 2 is a 2D game that serves as a sequel to Rayman Origins. This fangame/mod aims to improve upon what Rayman Legends offered and bring a new installment to the franchise, incorporating new ideas and previously discarded concepts from earlier games. In Origins 2, we will see the return of classic characters and explore fantastic worlds ranging from a medieval city in the Livid Deadlands (Rayman 3) to a world full of computers and giant machines. Throughout the story, Rayman and his friends will discover who is causing chaos in the Glade of Dreams.

Development:
Although we all work together and contribute ideas and level sketches for the game, each of us focuses on specific aspects of the project:

• Said and Lepidopterus: They turn the level sketches into playable levels in the fangame. They also handle technical aspects and various other tasks.

• Me (Alex): I draw the sprites used in the fangame, write the script and story, and take care of other tasks.

In addition to us, we have other members on the team:

• Hiroshi: Contributes ideas, creates some sprites, and handles other tasks.

• MaedaGoof: Contributes ideas and serves as the art director.

Our team is called "PlumWing Studios," and we are open to having more people join the game's development.

There are a lot of levels, enemies and things we want to show you but the best thing to do is to wait for the Trailer which will be released in the next days.

Rayman Origins 2 is a fangame made using ubicanvas master, it is developed by Me and a few other friends, it takes place right after origins left off, with the moody clouds exploding, the only remaining thing is the magician hat, during the night it takes a life of its own and starts causing problems for everyone, which leads to the events of the game

i decided to make this thread to make the project be more known by the public,and to also share progress on it from time to time , it also aims for a more trilogy feel instead of the usual ubiart vibe, i hope you like it as much as ive enjoyed to make it!

Holy shit this looks beatiful! Rayman Origins is by far my favorite Rayman game, so seeing a fanmade sequal to it is extremely cool! Good luck with the project!

thank you all for the kind words! and apologies for no responding,we've been quite busy lately,both with the fangame/mod and irl,we are working hard to show off more progress in the future,and imma be honest,all these comments really do make me feel inspired,so we sincerely thank you all!
oh and btw,i got a bit scared when i saw that alex had written something i didnt expect it

It's not actually the level select map, it's a map that Holly Luya gave to Rayman for a mission!
