Red monsters, also known as Red drummers and Megazorgs [source] (none of these names being official, for the real one is unknown) are uncommon enemies found in Band Land. There is only two in the whole of the original game.

They are huge and invincible enemies, but in spite of their characteristics, they are less dangerous than they appear to be. Almost static, except for a few steps that they regularly take, their attacks consist in hitting the floor with their maces, which creates lightning bolts, and waving them, which Rayman must watch out for if he tries to pass above them.

Their amazing size can be a disadvantage for them though, as it is possible to sneak between their body and their feet, with the help of a moving cloud.

Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge is a spin-off isometric platform game based on Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc that was released exclusively for the Game Boy Advance in 2005. It is the first and only game (as of 2009) in the Rayman series to be played from an isometric viewpoint in what appears to be a 2D environment, while using 3D sprites.

Plot
Taking place supposedly a short while after the events in Rayman 3, Globox's body is once again invaded by André the Black Lum while Rayman is asleep, and now they have to search for each other. Meanwhile, the Hoodlums have been ordered to clone the body of Reflux and once again attempt to take over the Crossroads of Dreams.

Gameplay
Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge's gameplay uses some elements from Rayman 3, including the score counter and the Combo-mode, Teensie cages and Laser Washing Powder cans. The difference is that Lums, namely Yellow, Red, Green and Blue Lums, are collected as well as gems. In each level, there is a certain number of cages and Yellow Lums to collect and they are counted down; the more the player collects and the higher he or she scores, the more likely he or she is to gain up to three Murfy Stamps, which are needed to unlock bonus levels.

In a few levels, Globox is a playable character, though he cannot fight the same way as Rayman, or go near the Hoodlums (because he is afraid of them, he will automatically run a short distance away from), unless he drinks a keg of plum juice, which will send him in a trance and have the confidence to attack enemies. Sometimes Rayman and Globox can be played in the same level, though the player will have to switch characters for the right tasks, and the level cannot be exited unless both characters meet each other at the exit.
Trivia
* On the American boxart of the game, there is a typo in which the apostrophe is placed between the word "Hoodlum" and the letter S, making the subtitle seem as if there is only one Hoodlum rather than a group of them.

RaymanZone, also spelt Rayman Zone, and commonly abbreviated RZ, has been the official Rayman website since January 2003. However, this term mainly refers to its forum, which is known to have been the stage of several unfair bans, as well as numerous attacks (of which six full deletions) since it was created.

The different periods of its history are usually referred as eras, separated from each other by a full deletion of the forum.

First era (January 2003 ~ December 2004)
The forums were created in January 2003 and used the phpBB software. They featured three categories: an English, a French and a German section. They were characterized by a high frequentation, but also by inactive administrators and unfair bans. Despite the rumours of a group of skilled revengeful members already responsible for numerous spam attacks, which were largely disregarded, the system version was never updated and it resulted in the first deletion of RZ on December 20th 2004. This attack was soon proved to have been performed by the Anti RaymanZone Organization, commonly abbreviated ARZO, who sent a webworm to exploit a security issue. They claimed to have been unfairly banned from the forums and wanted to take their revenge. Pirate Community was falsely accused of being linked to ARZO, as it was created by Hunchman801 in August 2003 after he was also unfairly banned from RaymanZone.

The first era was by far the most profilic period of RaymanZone. It is estimated that it reached more than 400,000 messages, making it the largest Rayman forum ever, even larger than Pirate Community.

Second era (May 2005 ~ August 2006)
After several months of absence, the forums were created again from scratch in May 2005, but they were merged with the UbiSoft forums, powered by the Infopop software. This decision was highly criticised, but a certain number of users stayed, in hope of reconstructing their community, while others joined Pirate Community. On July 3th 2006, an attack performed by ARZO caused a hard disk to break, resulting in the loss of two days of posts for the whole Ubi forums. Then, in July and August, the forums were repeatedly spammed, until they were entirely deleted by the Kill RaymanZone Klan, commonly abbreviated KRZK, a small group of ARZO die-hard members, on August 24th 2006. Those spam attacks were later proved to be a cover for a graduated deletion which purpose was to render any backups useless.

During the second era, it is estimated that more than 60,000 messages were posted on the English forums, the two other sections being totally inactive.

Third era (August 2006 ~ March 2007)
The forums started from scratch for the second time, and several members leaved because of the lack of action from UbiSoft. On January 20th 2007, an unidentified problem resulted in the loss of three months of posts, but the KRZK never claimed to be responsible for this. The forums were however deleted by the KRZK for the third time on March 3rd 2007.

It is estimated that less than 20,000 messages were posted during the third era.

Fourth era (March 2007 ~ January 2008)
The forums were deleted by the KRZK for the fourth time on January 27th 2008.

It is estimated that less than 15,000 messages were posted during the fourth era.

Fifth era (January 2008 ~ May 2008)
On April 10th 2008, RaymanZone was heavily flooded with explicit pictures. Then, only four months after the last deletion, the forums were deleted again by the KRZK for the fifth time on May 2nd 2008.

It is estimated that less than 2,000 messages were posted during the fifth era.

Sixth era (May 2008 ~ October 2008)
The whole Ubi forums were backed up after the fifth deletion, but most of the content had already been deleted by the KRZK several days before, rendering the backup hardly useful and resulting in the wrath of the other game forums. On October 17th 2008, the forums were deleted by the KRZK for the sixth time.

It is estimated that less than 3,000 messages were posted during the sixth era.

Seventh era (October 2008 ~ present)
So far, about 3,000 messages were posted during the seventh era.

Tonic Trouble is a game that was developed by UbiSoft Montréal, initially to test the 3D engines used by Rayman 2: The Great Escape. It is notable for featuring limbless characters akin to the earlier Rayman games although it is actually set on Earth; in fact, one of these characters appears as a cameo at a very late point in Rayman 2, along with a Rayman cameo in Tonic Trouble's end credits. It was released for the Nintendo 64, PC and Game Boy Color (only in Europe) in 1999.

Plot
The game follows the story of Ed, a small and clumsy member of a purple limbless alien species, who works as a janitor during a voyage through space, on a craft called The Albatross. Ed is voiced by David Gasman, who also voices Rayman in Rayman 2, Rayman M and Rayman 3. During one shift, Ed comes across a strange can and drinks its contents. He doesn't like the taste, and spits the fluid out, causing any object it came to contact with to come to life, forcing him to throw it down a chute which sends it falling to Earth. The fluid's effects on the Earth's environment cause chaos, and the can falls into the hands of a Viking called Grogh, who becomes more powerful upon drinking from it.

Ed faces a trial in court, and as punishment for his carelessness, he is sent to Earth to clean up the mess. During his journey there, his own spaceship malfunctions and ends up crashing into a snowy mountainous area on Earth, which is now roaming with mutant killer vegetables and balloon sheep. Eventually he meets a doctor and his daughter, Suzy, who offer to help him by giving him weapons and powers in exchange for small things such as springs and propellers used by the Doc to build a machine.

Gameplay
The game sticks very closely to the formula found in the first Rayman. Much like in Rayman 1, Ed starts off defenseless and acquires new weapons and powerups throughout the game. Also, each stage includes 6 objects that Ed must collect in order to properly complete it. The main difference between the two games is that Tonic Trouble is in 3D, and some stages in the game focus more on puzzle solving than platforming. In addition to the 6 objects in each stage, Ed must also collect 120 antidotes hidden throughout the levels and Southern Plains hub map in order to access the Magic Mushrooms Lair late in the game (akin to needing all of the Electoons to enter Candy Château in Rayman 1).
Music
The music in Tonic Trouble was composed by Éric Chevalier who also did the soundtrack to Rayman 2. The soundtrack is very eclectic and experimental in nature. In one portion of the game bagpipes, a rhythm guitar, a beat boxer and a synthesizer can be heard at the same time. The music was intended to be interactive and would change depending on the mood Ed was feeling in each room, but in the final version of the PC game each track is a long suite of sorts.

Ed also has his own short jingle "theme" that can be heard in some of the tracks that sounds almost like the inverse of Rayman's theme from Rayman 2.

Beta Version
Early in 1999, a beta version of Tonic Trouble called "Tonic Trouble Special Edition" was released with some computers. The game is barely the same to its final counterparts on the PC and Nintendo 64 featuring different level designs and in some cases music. Ed controls much differently and feels heavier due to a less precise jump and tank-like controls. Unlike in the final PC version, there are no subtitles and some characters have different voice actors. The beta version also has different names for some of the stages, and features a world map that can be brought up to check the player's progress on the collectibles in each stage.

Beta-Only Enemies
Trigger Happy Henchman
This henchman is the first one you find in the Canyon. He will repeatedly spray a shower of bullets in Ed's direction, and ocassionaly take a short break from firing. Takes three hits from the stick or one hit from the blowdart pipe to be defeated.
Flamethrower Henchman
This henchman can be found in the Canyon guarding a full health powerup. While flying with his propeller hat he does not try to harm Ed, but when he lands he'll fire a long stream of fire in Ed's general direction. Takes three hits from the stick or one hit from the blowdart pipe to be defeated.
Mushroom Caps
The UFO-like mushroom caps hover over long stretches of lava in the Canyon. If they spot Ed they will fly to whereever he was standing when spotted and explode. If Ed moves out of the way while a mushroom cap is flying towards him, he can avoid the cap's attack entirely. Mushroom Caps cannot be harmed.

The Grape
The Grape appears during the end credits of the beta version of Tonic Trouble. It can be seen rearranging itself into various shapes such as a tank or a cube. One of of the Grape's grapes has a heart on it. It is currently unknown if this enemy actually shows up in a stage of the beta version.
The Grape appears during the end credits of the beta version of Tonic Trouble. It can be seen rearranging itself into various shapes such as a tank or a cube. One of of the Grape's grapes has a heart on it. It is currently unknown if this enemy actually shows up in a stage of the beta version.

Can someone clarify where the names "Mega Yellow Lum" and "Super Yellow Lum" come from, and whether or not they're official? People have been referring to the 5-in-1 yellow lums as "Super" for some time now. Spiraldoor 14:06, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
:Super yellow lums are official, they are from the PS version of Rayman 2. However, I've never heard of Mega Yellow lums, but apparently it's from the GBC version *shrugs*. - User:Acarr 30th September 2009 17:26 (UTC)
I didn't mean to cause trouble.
It's Rayman123. I didn't mean to cause trouble. I tried editing Five-Pack Yellow Lum, but my computer and its web-browser froze up. Then it wouldn't unfreeze so I turned it off. Then just when I was about to turn it on, my parents told me to get off the computer and go to bed. I knew that the information I was editing would be lost on my notepad that froze up. I trying to make things clearer, but my web-browser deleted the information and the RAM of info was lost. I am so sorry about this!:( I'll get it fixed I promise! I deleted Spiraldoor's comment on my because all thing may not what they seem to be. If you don't believe me, then that's your problem. Once I do my final edit on Five-Pack Lum Pack. I won't do any editing in that area any more for a while.

What the hell
Now all that crap is starting to get on my nerves. I suggest we start from scratch about those big lums:
*Those from Rayman 2 Forever are worth ten Yellow Lums and they're called Super Yellow Lums, according to the manual (a scan or a PDF version would be welcome).
*Those from Rayman 2 are worth five Yellow Lums are they're called Super Yellow Lums as well. [source] However, it seems that they were called Five-Pack Yellow Lums in some strategy guide I have never heard of.
In my opinion, what's written in the manual is pretty much more relevant than what you can find in a semi-official strategy guide. This is why I suggest creating only one article, called Super Yellow Lum, divided into two sections (Rayman 2 Forever - Ten-pack Yellow Lums & Rayman 2 - Five-pack Yellow Lums), with the pages Ten-pack Yellow Lums, 10-pack Yellow Lums, Five-pack Yellow Lums and 5-pack Yellow Lums redirecting respectively to each section.
As such, I don't believe the 'Classification of Yellow Lums' article serves much purpose, which is why I also suggest deleting it and transferring its content to the Super Yellow Lum article.

Any objections?

— Hunchman801 23:04, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

:A single "Yellow Lum" page that deals with Yellow Lums, Super Yellow Lums, Five-Pack Yellow Lum, as well as Classification of Yellow Lums might be worth considering. It could have a main paragraph discussing Yellow Lums, a Super Yellow Lums paragraph with Five-Pack and Ten-Pack subparagraphs, and a "Knowledge from the Lums" paragraph as well. Spiraldoor 17:17, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

::I do find the above suggestion to be a pretty good idea. The three pages covering yellow lums right now tend to repeat themselves already. Plus, again, it'd be a lot more accessible and easier for visitors to view. Sounds pretty good to me... Foultzboyz 19:56, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

:Yeah, and all these pages make it hardly accessible to people just wanting to find more information. A single Super Yellow Lum page with notes from all these pages would be fine and they'd merge easily I think. (All of them are forms of Super Yellow Lums, and I've never heard them called "Five-Packs" either.)
Rayman (sometimes known as Rayman 1) is Rayman's debut game, and was first released in 1995 on the Atari Jaguar, Sony PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and on MS-DOS. A port for the Game Boy Color was released in 2000, followed by a port for the Game Boy Advance that was later released in 2001, in which it was renamed Rayman Advance. In 2008, the game was released on the PlayStation Network as a downloadable PSOne Classic, for Sony PlayStation 3 and Sony PlayStation Portable.

Gameloft made a game called Rayman Ultimate for the Windows CE. The game used the original PlayStation format of it. Gameloft also released Rayman 1 (GBC) for PDA's with Windows Mobile and Palm OS. Rayman Ultimate however, can be downloaded online. The Learning Company remade the game as a complete download, and is available for the Apple's Mac OS X. This will be the first Rayman game to be available on an Apple operating system along with Rayman 3 and Raving Rabbids.

Plot
Rayman's world depends on the Great Protoon, in order for people and nature to live in peace and harmony. One day, the game's villain, Mr Dark, defeats Betilla as she tried to defend the Great Protoon which he steals, causing the Electoons to scatter. They are then captured by hostile creatures that appear after the incident, and are trapped in cages which Rayman has to break open in order to get closer to Mr Dark's hideout in the Candy Château. At a later point in the game, Mr Dark kidnaps Betill.

Gameplay
Rayman is a 2D side-scrolling platform game, unlike its successors. The game is made up of six different worlds, half of which are natural (The Dream Forest, Blue Mountains, and the Caves of Skops), while the other half is 'imaginary' (Band Land, Picture City, and the Candy Château). Each of these worlds excluding Candy Château contains three or four levels, each with six cages with Electoons to find. The game's difficulty is progressive, meaning that it gets harder as the player continues.

The game displays consist of how many lives Rayman has, three units of energy (four in Rayman Advance) and five with a Super Power (six in Rayman Advance), and how many Tings he has collected. Rayman normally starts with four lives and three health units, and can collect up to 99 lives. When he takes damage, he loses one unit, and when he loses all of them, he loses a life, his temporary fist powers, and all of the Tings he had collected. Upon Game Over, he has up to nine continues depending on version, which are represented with alarm clocks.

List of Powers and Power-Ups
At the start of the game, Rayman is only able to pull a grimace, which is used to scare certain enemies. As he continues, he would receive permanent powers from Betilla the Fairy that gradually widen his abilities, as well as receive a few temporary ones.

Permanent
* Grimace: Rayman's only ability at the game's beginning, only useful for getting rid of tall Livingstones which are scared of this.
* Telescopic fist: The first power you gain from Betilla the Fairy, which allows Rayman to punch enemies to defeat them. This can be temporarily powered up by Speed Fists and Golden Fists.
* Hanging: Allows Rayman to hang onto ledges.
* Grappling Fist: When acquired, Rayman can use his fist to grapple onto flying rings which are scattered around the place, allowing him to reach high places and cross wide gaps.
* Helicopter: When acquired, Rayman can use his odd looking hair as a helicopter which only allows him to glide, and prolong his jumps.
* Running: Rayman's last permanent power, which allows him to move faster than walking. It also makes his jumps a lot longer and faster. This replaces the grimace.

Temporary
* Magic Seed: Given to Rayman after helping Tarayzan, Rayman plants seeds to help him reach ledges and escape floods.
* Super Helicopter: A potion that allows Rayman to actually fly with his helicopter hair.
* Shrinking: Touching Blue elves makes Rayman tiny, which is useful for accessing areas which were too small for normal-sized Rayman to go through. He returns to normal size when he touches another Flying blue elf.

Power-Ups
* Tings: Small blue bubbles, used either to pay the Magician to enter a bonus stage, or to gain an extra life when 100 are collected.
* Powers: Comes in either a small red atom with a P on the front, or a large red one - the former gives Rayman one or two units of health, while the latter replenishes his entire health.
* Speed Fist: Allows Rayman's fist to fly faster than normal. Three different speeds are available.
* Golden Fist: Allows Rayman's fist to be twice as strong.
* Life: Gives Rayman an extra life, as well as restoring his entire health.

Characters
Along the way, Rayman meets an array of different characters, some of which aid him through his journey.

Friends
* The Magician: He introduces the game's story. He can also be found at several points of the game, in which he would give you access to bonus stages that promise extra lives, provided you give him ten Tings.
* Betilla the Fairy: Human-like, floating female fairy. Very important in the game - she gives Rayman new powers during the adventure.
* Tarayzan: Basically a limbless Tarzan, he hides behind a bush until you knock down his loincloth, and gives you the Magic Seed as a reward.
* The Photographer: This person acts like a checkpoint, should you die, you'll start at the point in which he took your photograph.
* The Musician: Located high in the Blue Mountains, his guitar had been crushed by a rock which you must break to recover it. As a reward, he gives you the Super Helicopter Potion.
* Joe the Extraterrestrial: An alien that owns his own snack bar on the beach in the Cave of Skops, his neon lights are unplugged, and Rayman has to go down into the dark caves to turn it back on.

Enemies
There are only main enemies in game. The minor enemies will be listed on level pages.

* Bzzit: The first boss (or mid-boss) of the game, a large eyed mosquito, who lives in Anguish Lagoon in the Dream Forest. After the player win fight with him, he befriends Rayman and can be used as a vehicle. He appears as a friend in Rayman Revolution.
* Moskito: Another mosquito, very similar to Bzzit, but with more health points, more attacks, and (in some versions) another colours. Lives in Moskito's Nest in the Dream Forest.
* Mr Sax: Boss of Band Land, he is a walking saxophone that attacks by blowing explosive wrong notes.
* Mr Stone: Boss of the Blue Mountains, he is a man made of stone who constantly thumps on the ground and sends smaller stone creatures to attack Rayman.
* Space Mama: A very large woman who's the boss of Picture City. She is first represented as stereotypical female opera singer, with rolling pin which shoots out knives. In the second battle, her rolling pin shoots out lasers. Exploding pots and a washing machine are also used by her.
* Mr Skops: A scorpion, boss of the Caves of Skops. He attacks with his giant claws and tail which shoots a homing laserbeam.
* Bad Rayman: The result of a spell that Mr Dark casts in the Candy Château stage who resembles Rayman with a dark palette and mimics every move he makes throughout the stage. He can only be defeated by finishing a stage while letting him follow you.
* Mr Dark: The main antagonist of the game, who steals your fist powers and casts strange spells on you. When you finally approach him he would not really fight but rather trap you with walls of fire. At this point the Electoons return your Fist, but Mr Dark flees after, leaving you to actually fight hybrids of the previous bosses. He lives in Candy Château.

Early Jaguar prototype
On 25th August 2008, a YouTube video showing an early prototype of the Jaguar version was uploaded. Two months later, this was leaked to the public along with 19 prototypes or other Jaguar titles. However, there is no specific prototype number, and it is unknown how much older it is than the Jaguar's demo version, or whether or not this is the same prototype that was used to advertise the game in magazines.

Several differences between this prototype and the final version are present, as well as glitches which may render the game unplayable, especially while running in a Jaguar emulator.

* The game begins with no title screen, but straight to the world map which has been shrunk to fit the whole screen. Instead of Rayman, an electoon pinpoints his position.
* There appears to be less levels available to choose from as they are unlocked, and the medallions look different.
* There is no text at all in the game other than "ACTION" and "GAME OVER".
* The game uses a completely different walk cycle for Rayman, making him look as if he is jogging.
* When he is hit by an enemy, the throwback is a lot longer than normal, and he squeaks.
* When Rayman runs up to an exit sign, he does not pose, but rather the game fades to the next stage or the map.
* The lives counter displays a single digit.
* Some enemies appear to float across the screen.
* The bullets shot by the hunters do not withdraw a hammer.
* Select maps are featured in the game. For example, when the Pink Plant Woods are passed, the player goes straight to Swamps of Forgetfulness.
* Rayman's body moves differently when he receives a power from Betilla.
* The Magician can be found and is paid with Tings as normal, but instead of normal bonus level, he takes the player to the breakout game.

Jaguar Demo version
Along with this newly leaked prototype, there is also a demo version, which displays even more differences between the final version. This version begins with Rayman dropping down in what appears to be a Dream Forest level, and feeling grumpy the second he hits the ground. Some elements in the game do not seem to be detected by Rayman, even the enemies such as the Hunters and Moskito, indicating poor collision detection. Interestingly, Rayman can also perform handstands and attack with his feet, and his fist can be charged up to be more powerful, which is displayed with an icon at the bottom left corner and the word "Nova" next to it.

There is also a very early looking heads-up display which is centered rather than to the left and right, there are more hit points than normal and the word "POW" is between that and the lives counter. An icon of an antitoon is displayed instead of the tings icon, making an indication that these were to be collected. Only the lives counter and five of the hit points made it into the final game.

The game crashes when Rayman falls into a body of water.
| release date = 3rd March 2003
}}
"Rayman 3" redirects here. For other uses, see Rayman 3 (disambiguation).

Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc is the sequel to Rayman 2: The Great Escape. It was released starting on the 3rd of March 2003 for the Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Nokia N-GAGE, PC, and Mac. Rayman 3 for the digiBlast is exceptionally rare to find but is available. Rayman 3 was 3D, with graphics similar to Rayman 2: Revolution. However, Rayman 3s levels were a series of "action stages" as opposed to having a single level per world (as were most of Rayman 2's). Also unlike Rayman 2 and especially Revolution, the levels strictly followed a "movie"-like plot; in other words, returning to a level meant returning to a point in the adventure (such as Rayman falling in Begoniax's outhouse) instead of returning to a location in the adventure. Rayman 3 also featured a scoring system, and players could post their final scores on the then-new RaymanZone website. This is still possible however, as the Pirate-Community now has its very own Hall Of Fame .

Worlds
Similar to the gap between Rayman and Rayman 2, all locations in Rayman 3 were new and unconnected to previous games. However, they are still the same environments as Rayman's games tend to stick with: the mountains, forests, and swamps from Rayman, and the plains, coasts, and fortresses from Rayman 2. One area in particular, the Fairy Council, was alluded to in Rayman 2, and one of Count Razoff's ancestors (most likely his father) supposedly shot Space Mama; these allusions make Rayman 3s locations generally regarded as still being in the same canon as Rayman and especially Rayman 2.

Rayman 3s worlds in particular picked up on a lot of things Rayman 2 and Revolution lacked: unique environments. While the Iron Mountains and the Menhir Hills pretty much looked the same, Rayman 3 's worlds were vast and varied. Many elements from Revolution were included in Rayman 3 's worlds--the most evident of these are the ambient sounds (for example, the Desert of the Knaaren has the same ambiance as beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava) and the unique lighting. Rayman 3 also had many instances of stained glass windows, also a previous characteristic of the Lava Sanctuary.

Rayman 3 returned to the fairy tale-like theme of Rayman 's locations, though not as surreal. Many odd locales dot Rayman 3 's small collection of worlds, such as in the Fairy Council and the Longest Shortcut.

Finally, Rayman 3 included many allusions to its two predecessors, including a statue of Ly the Fairy (who is oddly absent from the Fairy Council), and an apparently "frozen" state of Admiral Razorbeard and his Robo-Pirate Army.

Plot
When André is frightened so much he turns into a Dark Lum, he transforms a lot of the other Red Lums into Dark Lums too. The Dark Lums steal the fur from other animals and use it to weave costumes for themselves, becoming 'Hoodlums'. When André, dressed up in a Hoodlum costume, starts heading towards Rayman, Globox and Murfy, the latter two desperately try to wake Rayman up. Globox eventually becomes so frightened he accidently pulls off Rayman's hand and runs off with them. Murfy picks up Rayman by the hair and flies off with him, waking him up. More Hoodlums try to shoot down Murfy and Rayman as they fly away, but they both escape. They then begin searching for Globox and Rayman's hands.

However, when, they find Globox and Rayman gets his hands back, André, along with two slapdashes, pursue the large toad. Rayman and Murfy go following him into the building of the Fairy Council. Rayman soon defeats André's Hoodlum costume, which drops a Laser-Washing-Detergeant Can behind, and André flees towards the Heart of the World, wanting to gain ower from there. After Rayman tries out the Laser-Washing Detergeant, called 'combat fatigues', he and Murfy pursure André to stop him from getting to his destination. They find Globox along the way, who accidentally swallows the Dark Lum Lord.

Score System
Rayman 3 was the second game to have a score system (after Rayman 2: Revolution), and the first for the score system to be in an arcade-style format. This score system allowed players to upload their scores onto RaymanZone's Lums Quest. The score system increased the replay value of Rayman 3. The scoring system followed this formula:

#Collect a Jewel / Break a Piggy Bank / Break a door / Defeat a Hoodlum
#Points are added to Score
#Combo Mode starts
#During Combo Mode, step 1 brings double points to step 2
#Unless step 1 is carried out consistently, Combo Mode shortly ends

If Rayman is using a Laser-Washing Powder Can, each point is doubled, increasing the amount of points he can get and quadrupling the payoff of Combo Mode.

With the reformat of RaymanZone for Rayman Raving Rabbids, the Lums Quest ended.

One, located in the Longest Shortcut, has a statue of Ly in it. Another, in the Hoodlum Headquarters, has statues of Razorbeard and some of his Robo-Pirates sitting at a table, in the style of 'The Last Supper' painting by Leonardo da Vinci. * At the beginning of the third part of the Fairy Council, when Rayman and Murfy are looking for André and Globox, Murfy tells Rayman to hurry or else "he'll start telling everyone he's your father!". This is a reference to the famous scene from the film, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, in which the villain, Darth Vader, reveals to the hero, Luke Skywalker, that he is his father.
* In the Fairy Council, when Rayman and Murfy pursue André, the Dark Lum Lord throws a Ludiv away from her home, saying Zelda needs her, before hiding in the Ludiv's home. Zelda is a major character from the popular video game series The Legend of Zelda.
* In the Bog of Murk, inside Razoff's house is a room with a large mirror. If Rayman is left in idle in front of it, he'll make a face at himself and notice he has something stuck in his teeth, pulling it out. Spiral doors from Rayman 2 have mainly been replaced with Mirrors.

Nokia N-gage QD is compatible with Rayman 3 for the N-gage.

Gameloft also released Rayman for the Gameboy Color on Windows CE and the Palm OS, which are mobile computers made by independent companies.

Plot
Rayman's world depends on the Great Protoon, in order for people and nature to live in peace and harmony. One day, the game's villain, Mr. Dark, defeats Betilla as she tried to defend the Great Protoon which he steals, causing the Electoons to scatter. They are then captured by hostile creatures that appear after the incident, and are trapped in cages which Rayman has to break open in order to get closer to Mr. Dark's hideout in the Candy Château. At a later point in the game, Mr. Dark kidnaps Betilla.

* Mr. Sax: Boss of Band Land, he is a walking saxophone that attacks by blowing explosive wrong notes.
* Mr. Stone: Boss of the Blue Mountains, he is a man made of stone who constantly thumps on the ground and sends smaller stone creatures to attack Rayman.
* Pirate Mama: Mid-boss of Picture City. She represents a stereotypical female opera singer. Her rolling pin shoots out knives.
* Space Mama: A very large woman who's the boss of Picture City. Similar to Pirate Mama, a rolling pin is her weapon of choice (this one acts as a laser). Exploding pots and a washing machine are also used by her.
* Mr. Skops: A scorpion, boss of the Caves of Skops. He attacks with his giant claws and tail which shoots a homing laserbeam.
* Bad Rayman: The result of a spell that Mr. Dark casts in the Candy Château stage who resembles Rayman with a dark palette and mimics every move he makes throughout the stage. He can only be defeated by finishing a stage while letting him follow you.
* Mr. Dark: The main antagonist of the game, who steals your fist powers and casts strange spells on you. When you finally approach him he would not really fight but rather trap you with walls of fire. At this point the Electoons return your Fist, but Mr. Dark flees after, leaving you to actually fight hybrids of the previous bosses.

Mr. Dark is the main antagonist and the final boss in Rayman, located in Candy Château, in Mr. Dark's Dare. He is a mysterious being that steals the Great Protoon because of its immense power, causing the world to lose its natural stability. He also uses his powers to defeat Betilla the Fairy, who tries to defend the Great Protoon but is overpowered. At a later point of the game, Mr. Dark kidnaps her and traps her in a crystal ball.

As the final boss in Rayman
Before fighting Rayman, Mr. Dark casts strange spells on him as he makes progress through Candy Château, such as creating Bad Rayman, reversing Rayman's movements, making him run uncontrollably and eventually stealing his telescopic fist. Following this, by the time Rayman reaches his hideout, he tries to destroy him by trapping him between deadly walls of fire and throws fire balls at him. When his situation seems desperate, a group of Electoons rescue Rayman by giving him back his telescopic fist. The final battle then begins, and Mr. Dark transforms himself into three different forms.

The first transformation of Mr. Dark is a hybrid of Mr. Stone and Mr. Skops. His appearance is Mr. Stone's body, feet and right hand, but has Mr. Skops' head and claw. His only attack consists in hurling his claw at Rayman, which he can jump over and punch him in his face. If Rayman attempts to punch him too early, Mr. Dark will block his face with his claw. It is possible, with a certain timing and dexterity, to hit him twice per turn.

After he has suffered eight blows in the face, Mr. Dark then appears as two beings of the same hybrid, made of Moskito's body to his original size, and Space Mama's head, feet and hands in her first appearance, whilst also always holding her rolling pin, which fires out lasers like in her second appearance. Their only attack is shooting at Rayman, which he can jump over or duck under. If both of them shoot at the same height, the lasers will touch each other, morph into one laser, and come down towards the ground, which can be very hard to dodge for Rayman if he is ducking. If Rayman is ducking after they have shot, they will wait until he stands up. When Rayman gets the chance, he can punch either one of the two. If a laser hits the other hybrid, Mr. Dark will also be hurt.

When Rayman has hit them in total of eight blows, Mr. Dark transforms himself into a hybrid of Mr. Sax, Space Mama, and Moskito. His appearance is Space Mama's body, Mr. Sax's feet and hands and Moskito's head. Rayman has shrunk to the same size he would have with a flying blue elf. As he tries to stomp him, Rayman must use his running ability to avoid getting squashed. If he makes it across, when the hybrid hits the ground, Rayman will fly into the air, which will give him a chance punch him in the face, the only part where he can get hurt.

Once his last transformation has suffered eight punches, Mr. Dark leaves the battlefield and flees, as Rayman returns to normal size. The ending picture then shows that everything has returned to normal.

As the final boss in the GBC version of Rayman
In the Game Boy Color release of Rayman, Mr. Dark has imprisoned the Toons and uses their power for himself, throwing the world into darkness and chaos. Unlike the original, he does not transform himself when he engages in a final boss battle with Rayman. In between each level he can also be seen watching Rayman though a crystal ball.

In Arcane Forest, he casts two spells on Rayman, the first one summoning Bad Rayman, and the second one reversing Rayman's controls.

The final battle starts out with Mr. Dark shielding himself from Rayman's fist with three bubble-like balls. Then, he slowly rises up, and when he is off screen, he rains fire upon him from above. After ten to fifteen fire balls are dropped, he descends back down to the stage, while still having the shield around himself, and turns into a ball. While in ball form, he randomly floats around the stage trying to ram Rayman. His objective is to hit him while he is in ball form three times. But as he hits him, he gets smaller and smaller, and becomes harder to hit. After hitting him three times, a heart appears at the top of the stage so he can replenish his health. Mr. Dark turns back to normal, and then he floats off screen again.

This time, he throws ten meteors at him, two at a time. Then, he does the same routine as before: he comes back down, and turns into a ball. But this time, he will stay in ball form for a shorter period than before, and if Rayman can't manage to hit him three times within the time limit, he will turn back to normal and float back up into the sky to throw meteors at him again. If Rayman does hit him three times, a heart will appear once again, and he will rise back up into the sky to unleash his final attack.

This time, he shoots sixteen bolts of lightning. They are shot at the step he was just above on the stage, and can be easily avoided by using the Helicopter to hover over a lower step for a short time. After the sixteen bolts of lightning are shot, he turns back into ball form. Then, the time he is in ball form for even shorter. But if Rayman manages to hit him three times before he turns back to normal, he has beaten him. He turns back to normal form, burns up, and a spirit shape appears, then he completely fades from existence.

As the main antagonist in Rayman Junior
Mr. Dark also appears in the educational version of Rayman, Rayman Junior, in which he steals the Magic Book of Knowledge from the Magician and destroys a map to his hideout in Candy Château. He casts the same spells on Rayman as he did in the original game, but due to the nature of the game being educational, he doesn't fight as a final boss at all. Once Rayman has solved the riddles on the parchment showing the way to his hideout and been through his spells, Mr. Dark doesn't appear any more and Rayman eventually finds the Book of Knowledge.

In Rayman 2
In all versions of Rayman 2 except for the Game Boy Color adaptation, Super Yellow Lums are made of five Yellow Lums put together. However, they do not appear in Rayman Revolution. They can be recognized by their big faces and their typical size. In Prima's Official Strategy Guide for Rayman 2, they are referred as “Five-Pack Yellow Lums”.

Yeah, and all these pages make it hardly accessible to people just wanting to find more information. A single Super Yellow Lum page with notes from all these pages would be fine and they'd merge easily I think. (All of them are forms of Super Yellow Lums, and I've never heard them called "Five-Packs" either.) Hoodblasters (known as Hoodmongers in the PAL version of the game) are Hoodlums with shotguns that appeared in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge, Rayman Kart, and "Wanna Kick Rayman?" video extras.
Description
The most fanatic soldiers in the war to free the Dark Lum Lord are the Hoodblasters, known for the mighty boomsticks they tout with tyrannical authority. These grifty troops are the grunts of the Hoodlum Army and feature some of the most scattershot shooting skills ever seen. While off-duty, Hoodblasters live for the cutthroat competition of frog shooting tournaments.

Hoodblasters are the most common enemies and Hoodlums in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc and Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge. They use two types of shotguns to attack Rayman and wear hats. Hoodblasters can be found in most places at Rayman's world at the Crossroads of Dreams. They wear orange clothings and their eyes are red or white. They appears in all the worlds, even in the last boss Reflux except in the Longest Shortcut.

Personality
Hoodblasters are the most insane and stupid enemies in the Hoodlum Army in Rayman 3 and Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge.
They also have a tendency to shoot each other when trying to hit Rayman.
*A Hoodblaster appeared in the Wanna Kick Rayman? videos as the main Hoodlum and character to use many animals pretending that they're Rayman for many varied and crazy ways to kill him and there was another Hoodblaster in a men's oufit.
*Hoodblasters can shot one another trying to hit Rayman like the beginning of The Tower of the Leptys (There's a tactic).
*A Hoodblaster appeared as one of the racers in Rayman Kart.
*A scarecrow resembling a Hoodblaster appeared in the intro of Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party.
Rigatoni is the main antagonist of Rayman: The Animated Series, and is a character that only appears in this. He is the ringmaster of an intergalactic circus that he takes to various cities, countries and planets, and along the way he orders his lackey, Admiral Razorbeard, to capture strange creatures as slaves for his circus. His most beloved circus freak is Lac-Mac, who is the star of his show.

He is an egotistical and greedy character, perhaps more so than Razorbeard, who treats his slaves very badly, and for fears that they will escape or get stolen, his circus has a large CCTV system which he uses to keep an eye on them. When Rayman sets himself and his friends free, Rigatoni instantly brands them all as criminals, and gets in contact with Inspector Grub to track them down in Aeropolis. He does not appear in any more episodes after the first episode, Lac-Mac Napping. He is voiced by Danny Mann

Trivia
* Despite the fact that Rigatoni is a non-game character, he appears on a page in the collector's sticker book which came free with every copy of Rayman for the Game Boy Color. There is also a typo in this that spells his name as "Regatoni".
* His name is derived from a type of pasta.
* Rigatoni bears a resemblance to a Hunter from Rayman.
I was playing through the PlayStation version and I noticed none of the color differences that were described--like Moskito looked the same as Bzzit and there was no variation in color between the spiky fruits. Maybe this is a regional difference, since I have the NTSC (American) version and you all are probably playing the PAL (European) version? Just looking for some confirmation of these differences in the PAL PlayStation game because that should be noted if the differences are just (for whatever reason) regional. This is quite amazing, because I have both PAL (CD-ROM) and NTSC (.CUE) versions, and I noticed the colour differences in both of them. Do you have a re-edition or something like that?
Plot
Rayman and the Baby Globoxes are having a picnic in a forest when three Rabbids erupt from the ground, capturing the Baby Globoxes. Rayman tries to offer them food, but then Serguei comes and grabs Rayman. The Rabbids take Rayman and the Baby Globoxes to their coliseum and keep them in jail cells.

In order to escape, Rayman must collect plungers to build a ladder up to the window so he can jump out. He does this by taking part in trials to entertain the Rabbids. After trials, Rayman is rewarded with a plunger and is taken back to his jail cell to get some rest for the next day's lot of trials. As he goes on, Rayman's cell is decorated to look nicer and he wins more costumes and songs. After every day, he goes to the ladder of plungers, looking at the window hoping to escape, but a bird always comes and poops on him. After fifteen days, Rayman finally collects enough plungers and escapes, getting his revenge on the annoying bird on the way. Back at the forest, Rayman sees sheep eating the remains of the picnic and remembers he forgot the Baby Globoxes. He tries to go back through a hole in which they were captured through but ends up stuck.
Rayman 4
Rayman Raving Rabbids was first announced at E3 2006. It was shown to be a completely different game: an action-platformer which would be Rayman 4, and it would include the minigames as bonuses. Michel Ancel was originally in charge of this game, but after he'd done the important parts, he let the rest of team carry on so he could start on some other projects. While he was gone, the team, for some reason, decided to ditch the whole platformer part and just include the minigames.

The official description is this:
Beware of the Rabbids!
In Rayman’s world, there once lived sweet little cute rabbits that were constantly victimized by more
ferocious animals. One day, they disappeared from the Earth’s surface, secretly planning their massive
invasion. Armed with enormous war machines, they have now returned to enslave Rayman’s world and
get their final revenge!

Combat the Ultra-Crazed Evil Rabbits - Take control of Rayman and his knack for attack to help save his world from the Raving Rabbids. They are mischievous, insane and completely out of control. There are several types of Rabbids each with its own mischievous characteristics.

Master and Ride Creatures - Tame and control various creatures such as sharks, eagles, rhinos, spiders and angelfish. Rayman can master each animal's unique capabilities to help in his battle against the devious rabbits.

Dress to Impress - Customize and disguise Rayman. Go punk, pop, rock or hip hop to infiltrate the bunnies and foil their devious plans.

Explore the Colorful Fantastic World of Rayman - Explore amazing free-roaming environments and beautiful epic landscapes that mix real and fantastical styles to create a visually stunning experience.

These poor little creatures have become deceitful, uncontrollable and completely psychotic. Our hero and his friends have been kidnapped by these diabolical rodents and have become their slaves. Like a gladiator, Rayman must endure a series of trials for their amusement. But will he manage to gain enough popularity to save his world and his friends from this veritable Invasion of the Rabbids?

Not much is known about Rayman 4, but there are some things that were hinted or confirmed:
* Lums would be back.
* Globox, Ly, Murfy, and the Teensies would return.
* Andre would return and make an alliance with Rayman.
* Rayman had to save his girlfriend, his old enemy, and his old enemy's girlfriend.
* Ly would be Rayman's girlfriend.
* From the screenshots, you can tell that all the worlds would have been dark.
* There was going to be ten worlds.
* The Rabbids had been planning the invasion since the events of Rayman 1.

There had been brief gameplay clips of the original Rayman 4 prior to the change shown, and it could be seen that costumes would've been used similarly to the powers seen in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. Some of the concepts seen were applied to Rayman Raving Rabbids as well. For example, in one minigame in Rayman Raving Rabbids, Rayman must throw a cow attached to a chain a certain distance by spinning in place in a circular motion. The Rock Costume in the original Rayman 4 was seen to also have Rayman swinging a chain in a circular motion as in the minigame, though using it as an attack instead.

Some fans hope that Ubisoft will one day release this version but with different enemies instead of the Rabbids. The Rabbids have gained a somewhat negative look with veterans of the series due to the focus on the sub-series without another Rayman action title in the near future.
* There was going to be ten worlds
* The Rabbids had been planning the invasion since the events of Rayman 1

The manual debuted in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc and provides Rayman with information he needs to get through the game.

Appearance
The manual first appears at the start of The Fairy Council in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, under the possession of Murfy. It is used by Murfy to provide general information on the game's controls, and it provides information about the superpowers Rayman acquires in the game. It is not seen afterwards as it's purpose was only to assist Murfy in providing instruction for training the player. The manual is a purple book with Rayman's "O" on the front cover (reflecting the design of Rayman's torso).
Foultzboyzhttps://raymanpc.com/wiki/script-en/index.php?title=System_requirements&diff=2751System requirements2008-08-17T16:48:08Z
Foultzboyz: /* Rayman 2: The Great Escape */

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party is a forthcoming videogame in the Rayman Raving Rabbids spin-off series. It was officially announced on the 28th May 2008 via the Ubidays conference in which it was demonstrated by representatives and UK TV presenter Vernon Kay, and it is the first game in the Rayman series to use the Nintendo Wiiboard peripheral, heavily suggesting that it will only be available for Nintendo Wii. Not much is currently known about the game's exact plot other than that the Rabbids have become obsessed with television and have to 'drive Rayman crazy'. It is however said that Rayman will only make cameo appearances.

Minigames
Beestie Boarding:
You ride on a Wilderbeast across a race track in an environment like The Summit Beyond the Clouds. Using the Wii-Board, you balance your butt on it and use it to steer. If you lean left, you steer to the left, lean right, steer to the right, and if you lean back, you go faster. You must avoid all the obstacles and get to the end. Also, if you go up any ramps, you must use use the Wiimote and Nunchuck to do the moves it tells you to while you're in mid-air so you can gain extra points.

Dancing with Dweebs:
One of the Music games for this Rabbid game. The music played is 'Jungle Boogie'. It is different to music games from the past two RRR games, as instead of Rabbids or symbols coming from either side and you having to strike the Wiimote or Nunchuck as they come, you have to copy the moves it tells you to do.

Rayman M: Multiplayer (known as Rayman Arena outside of Europe) is a multiplayer spin-off of Rayman 2: The Great Escape. In Europe, it was released only on the Sony PlayStation 2 and PC on the 30th November 2001, while in the United States it was released on the Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube in addition to the PlayStation 2 and PC. It is a 3D game which combines racing, battling, and a few traditional platform elements. Unlike the other Rayman games, this game does not have a notable plot, other than that the characters are in a sporting competition.

Gameplay
The gameplay in Rayman M is split into two main modes, Racing and Battle.

Racing Mode
In this mode, the players take part in a foot race and face a number of obstacles depending on which environment they are playing in. There are no power-ups in this mode, although throughout each course there are Purple Lums, speed ramps and small trampolines that are useful. This mode has four different types of racing game. Obstacles include boxes that the player has to shoot up to eight times in order to pass, bear traps and electric bars.

Training
This mode allows the player to explore the course and practice before playing in the other modes, as well as setting their own personal records. Only a single player can play in this mode.

Race
This mode involves up to four characters to race each other, the first one to the finish line wins. In single player mode, the other players are computer controlled and there are three laps to run, while in multi-player mode you can set how many laps to run before winning.

Popolopoï
This mode uses a time limit in which you must complete three laps in. Although the time starts at 20 seconds, you can increase your time by shooting small butterflies called Popolopoï, which come in different colours that represent how much time you would get. Only a single player can play in this mode.

Lums
In this mode, you have to complete three laps while collecting the number of Yellow Lums required in order to legally win, which can be used at later points of the game. Only a single player can play in this mode.

Battle Mode
Rather than an obstacle course, the Battle mode is made up of an arena in which you run around playing three different modes. Unlike the Race mode, this mode uses power-ups.

Lum Spring
In the mode, you have to collect as many Lum (which unusually look like crystals this time) as you can in order to reach the winning conditions - in a typical game, this is up to five Lums - or before the time runs out. To help you prevent the opponents from reaching them first, you are equipped with ice bullets to freeze them, thought you'll also have to avoid their shots.

Lum Fight
Each player starts with five hit points each, and you have to knock all of the opponents' hit points in order to score Lums. Each time a player dies, they respawn somewhere in the arena. A negative Lum is given to a player that loses to a self-infliction. Various power-ups called Generators are scattered around, and contain a different weapon to use against your opponents. Uses the same winning conditions as Lum Spring.

Capture the Fly
Game is a lot like tag - you have to find a Light Fly and keep hold of it as long as possible without getting hit by an opponent's shot. You are equipped with five bounce bullets which are only effective on the play in possession of the Fly. The player that reaches the winning conditions first wins.

Environment
The game follows the same canon as Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and consist of four different worlds for each mode, each with three stages. The world you play in also determines the difficulty of the game, going from Beginner to Advanced. As the player progresses, the harder difficulties are unlocked.

Many of the worlds in Rayman M resemble locations from Rayman 2; for example, Ly's Palace resembles the Sanctuary of Water and Ice.

Characters
At the start of the game, five characters are available, and as the player progresses through the game, he or she will unlock the remaining characters as well as skins for them. Each character has their own musical theme in the Racing mode, and have their own method of gliding, though they all shoot the same way Rayman does.

*Rayman: The star of the game.
*Globox: Rayman's best friend, who joined the competition to overcome his shyness.
*Teensies: A pair of Grand Minimus Teensies.
*Razorwife: Admiral Razorbeard's flamboyant wife. Razorwife must be unlocked.
*Henchman 1000: An older Robo-Pirate model. Henchman 1000 must be unlocked.
*Dark Globox: An eviler, dumber, uglier, and certainly ruder version of Globox. Dark Globox only appears in "Rayman Arena" and must be unlocked.
*Dark Rayman: Mr. Dark's evil doppleganger from Rayman. Dark Rayman only appears in Rayman Arena and must be unlocked. He is also the player's opponent entirely through the third mode in the game, Master Mode. He is also the main antagonist of Rayman Arena.

*Admiral Razorbeard: The irritable lord of the Robo-Pirate Army.
*Razorwife: Admiral Razorbeard's flamboyant wife. Razorwife must be unlocked.
*Henchman 1000: An older Robo-Pirate model. Henchman 1000 must be unlocked.
*Dark Globox: An eviler, dumber, uglier, and certainly more ruder version of Globox. Dark Globox only appears in "Rayman Arena" and must be unlocked.
*Dark Rayman: Mister Dark's evil doppleganger from Rayman. Dark Rayman only appears in Rayman Arena and must be unlocked. He is also the player's opponent entirely through the third mode in the game, Master Mode. He is also the main antagonist of Rayman Arena.
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is the sequel to the spin-off series Rayman Raving Rabbids. It was the most recent of the Rayman series, being released in 2007 on the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS.

Plot
After having tried to take over Rayman's world, the Rabbids have now set their sights on ours! Using their headquarters in a shopping mall as their base, they are currently travelling all over the world to study our behavior and prepare a massive invasion.

Rayman has infiltrated the Rabbids' base in disguise, hoping to prevent these stupid creatures from carrying out their crazy, evil plan.

Watching TV, Rayman finds out that the Rabbids have invaded Earth. He goes to their headquarters, which
is a shopping mall, and finds two Rabbids being guards as the other Rabbids enter the base to start work. Rayman quickly disguises as a Rabbid by putting two socks on his hair, wearing fake eyeballs and breathing in helium to sound like a Rabbid. Grabbing a coke can, he throws it and he two guards, thinking it was each other who made the sound, start attacking each other. Rayman sneakily proceeds to hide behind another car and picks up the plunger the Rabbids threw away upon attacking each other. He places the Plunger in his Plunger Gun and climbs a ladder to the ceiling of the shop. He looks down through some glass to see the Rabbids watching a video of human behavior. One of the Rabbids suddenly looks up to where Rayman is and startled, Rayman backs away and falls into a hole, landing right in the base itself. The Rabbids come closer to Rayman, ready to attack, when their leader arrives. The leader recognizes Rayman and gets out a copy of the European Rayman Raving Rabbids game to make sure it is him. Rayman then does a Rabbid scream and the Rabbids, convinced he is one of them, allow him to take part in their mission as they set off for a continent to invade.

Characters
This game features Rayman and the Rabbids. Being a spin-off, this game focuses much more on the Rabbids than it does Rayman. In this game, Rayman acts like a Rabbid in order to keep himself unnoticed. The Rabbids are now more human like than they were in Rayman Raving Rabbids, doing human things and even having their own crazy way of speech.

Gameplay
In the game you can choose from Trips Mode, Score Mode, Trips customization or the Plaza. In Trips mode you can choose from 5 different areas to visit. Then you take part in 5 randomly chose minigames
and a music one as the area's final. In Score Mode, you can replay the 45 minigames you unlocked in Trips and try to beat the high scores to unlock more Rabbid costumes. Trips customization lets you create up to three of your own trips and play them from the Trips menu. Lastly is the Plaza, where you can view the credits, listen to music you unlocked, play some FPS Plunger Shooters and customize Rayman or the Rabbids with more than 110 items of clothing. Rayman only has 9 costumes while the Rabbids have around 50. Also new to this game is the choose of easy mode or normal mode in both Trips and Score and simultaneous multiplayer in all of the minigames.

The Plunger Shooters are different from Rayman Raving Rabbids. Instead of polygon made worlds, they now take place in real world locations, because someone from Ubisoft went round filming locations and then Ubisoft added the Rabbids into it on the computer. To reload, you now have to pess the A button.
The grapple abilty is now gone. Finally, they are now more slow than they were in the original Rayman Raving Rabbids.

The music stages have changed too. Instead of dancing to the music, you now play it. You can choose from 4 different instruments and instead of Rabbids coming from the sides of the stage, you now have Wii Remote and Nunchuck symbols coming down from the top of the screen and when they get to the templates at the bottom of the screen, you must strike down whichever controller the symbol is of. Nunchuck symbols are always at the left and Wiimote symbols are always at the right. If you get a wobbly red circle when you hit a symbol, it means you did bad and you lose some points, if you get a wobbly yellow circle it means you did good and get no points, and if you get a green circle it means you got perfect and you gain some points. Also at certain times it will tell you you must either alternatively move the Nunchuck and Wii Remote up and down, swing the Wii Remote like a lasso or swing the Nunchuck like a lasso. All actions you must do as fast as possible to get the most points.
Note that in easy mode you don't actually play the song, you just do the actions.

In all Score Mode minigames you must get more than 12000 points in normal mode to get the trophy and unlock a Rabbid costume. In all Trips you must beat a total of 72000 points to get the trophy and unlock a Rabbid costume.
Rayman: Raving Rabbids is the first video game of a spin-off series based on the Rayman series. It was released for the Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 2, PC, and the Game Boy Advance in 2006, followed by ports for the Nintendo DS and the Microsoft Xbox 360 in 2007.

Characters
Rayman and the Rabbids are the main stars of this game. Also included are the Baby Globoxes, the only returning characters, the Rabbids henchmen, strange creatures that look like a cross between rhinos and elephants and some animals, who only serve as fillers.

Rayman: Rayman was taken by surprise by this invasion from within. What do the Rabbids intend to do? It's hard to say.
But now they're everywhere and their atypical psyches make them formidable and unpredictable opponents.

A Few Rabbids...

Pink: Pink is mute and timid. Yet, with just a little patience you can easily learn the basics of his method of communication and understand what he says. For example, "Hey mate!! What's up?" is translated, in his language, by firing a heat-seaking missile. (It is true that, long term, you could say that all he really knows how to say is "Hey mate!! What's up?").

Serguei: Serguei is a softy. Out of pure coquetry, he wears a delightful, finely worked metal muzzle. His joie de vivre and his strong sense of repartee make him a very pleasant companion. He's always ready to keep things light and lively with little tricks, such as grinding phalanxes, switching your clavicles, or even playing "this little piggy" with your toes.

Professor Barranco: Professor Barranco is a scientist. He is currently writing a very complex thesis on thermodynamics and the resistance of certain materials. For the moment, he is accumulating certain certain experimental data, firstly, on their resistance of cranial bones to the impact of a bludgeon, and secondly, the resistance to high temperatures generated by the explosion of booby-trapped gifts.

The frog-rabbids: The frog-Rabbids are part of the elite commando team. They are formidable combatants. They are systematically sent out on the most dangerous missions, such as assaults on carrot juice bars, infiltrating a popular chorus or even maintaining the peace in front of the toilets.

Clark: Clark is not a Rabbid like the others. His Super-powers enable him to accomplish feats that gain him respect and admiration from everyone. He is the inventor and the undisputed champion of a new kind of biathlon (the consecutive combo: Descending Flight + Vertical Subterranean Race).
His personal record: 2300 DF + 47cm VSR

* Lums would be back
* Globox, Ly, and the Teensies would return
* Andre would return and make an alliance with Rayman
* Rayman had to save his girlfriend, his old enemy and his old enemy's girlfriend
* Ly would be Rayman's girlfriend
* From the screenshots, you can tell that all the worlds would have been dark
* There was going to be ten worlds
* The Rabbids had been planning the invasion since the events of Rayman 1

One area in particular, the Fairy Council, was alluded to in Rayman 2, and Count Razoff's father supposedly shot something as large as Space Mama; these allusions make Rayman 3s locations generally regarded as still being in the same canon as Rayman and especially Rayman 2.

Rayman 3s worlds in particular picked up on a lot of things Rayman 2 and Revolution lacked: unique environments. While the Iron Mountains and the Menhir Hills pretty much looked the same, Rayman 3 's worlds were vast and varied. Many elements from Revolution were included in Rayman 3 's worlds--the most evident of these are the ambient sounds (for example, the Desert of the Knaaren has the same ambience as Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava) and the unique lighting.

Finally, Rayman 3 included many allusions to its two predecessors, including a statue of Ly the Fairy (who is oddly absent from the Fairy Council), a painting of Admiral Razorbeard and the Robo-Pirate Army, a reference to Space Mama, etc.

Plot
The Fairy Council is suddenly invaded by Black Lums. Clusters of Black Lums form and begin stealing the fur from several animals to make patchwork disguises, which became known as Hoodlums. Led by André, the Hoodlums attempt to reach the Heart of the World in order to corrupt it and create thousands of more Black Lums. However, as soon as they are about to reach their goal, Globox accidentally swallows André when Globox and Rayman were trying to foil their plans. Rayman then sets out in search of a doctor who can remove André from his friend.

#Collect a Gem / Break a Piggy Bank / Defeat a Hoodlum
#Points are added to Score
#Combo Mode starts
#During Combo Mode, step 1 brings double points to step 2
#Unless step 1 is carried out consistently, Combo Mode shortly ends

If Rayman is using a Laser-Washing Powder Can, each point is doubled, increasing the amount of points he can get and quadrupling the payoff of Combo Mode.

With the reformat of RaymanZone for Rayman Raving Rabbids, the Lums Quest ended.

Levels
* The Fairy Council
* Clearleaf Forest
* The Bog of Murk
* The Land of the Livid Dead
* The Desert of the Knaaren
* The Longest Shortcut
* The Summit Beyond the Clouds
* Hoodlum Headquarters
* The Tower of the Leptys
