Character description
Being ghosts, the Griskins can fly around, but they have no arms to attach their hands to them, and have neither feet nor legs. At least some Griskins have the ability to generate and manipulate lightning, using it to their advantage against enemies.
In Rayman 3
The Griskins appear throughout the first parts of the Land of the Livid Dead. They once resided there when they were alive, but the Great Spirit Palmito was angered by their singing, and decided to destroy the tribe and imprison their ghosts in a large, magical tower. A select few however were later trapped in Hoodlum cages. When Rayman freed the Griskin trapped on top of the tower and one of his brothers in the third phase, they created a portal that led to a group of other Griskins trapped together. They used their lighting powers to defeat the Hoodlums to allow Rayman and Globox to advance.
