Spinneroo
‘The Spinneroo is a paranoid prison guard who spins around at breakneck speeds to make sure no-one's creeping up behind him.’ —Rayman 3, official description
‘Hoodlocks are large and in charge. Their huge girth and deadly wrecking ball fists make them perfect for guarding passages and doors. Once a Hoodlock is assigned to its post, even their commanding Hoodlum officers have a hard time getting them to go away!’ —Rayman 3, official description

Spinneroos, also known as a Hoodlocks or Kagguards, are large, grey Hoodlums who allegedly worked as prison guards. They wear chain-mail and carry heavy cannonballs as malicious attacking weapons for any who try to bypass. These are casually wielded back and forth in normal gameplay but vigorously spun as the Spinneroo rotates in attack. The first Spinneroo is encountered in the second part of the Bog of Murk.
These Hoodlums typically act as barriers or blockages to paths. Fortunately, they are fairly light in weight and can be shifted backwards by simple shots - the Spinneroo is conventionally defeated by falling in marshland or lava, after being given several consecutive fists. A fully powered Heavy Metal Fist is also sufficient to defeat a Hoodlock.
Spinneroos also appear in the handheld adaptation of Rayman 3. In this game, they patrol back and forth on platforms, and Rayman must use his body-slam power to break the wooden walkways they use, thus killing them in a similar fashion to the Gorilla Pirates of Rayman 2.

In Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge, Spinneroos armed with a sword and a shield can be found. Slightly more resistant than their regular counterparts, their attack pattern is also different, as they wander around and hit Rayman with their sword, leaving aside their ability to spin around uncontrollably.
