I have removed or amended the following items for the corresponding reasons:

*"Zombie-checkens from Rayman 2 makes an appart in the level "Desert of the Kanarrens"." Returning enemies/characters are more than just a reference.
*"Céloche's 'eyes', the 'face' on its turret, the 'eyes' on the metal fish and details on the side of the laser cannon use a texture from Rayman 2, identical to the portholes found in Robo-Pirate strongholds." Asset reuse is not necessarily a reference.
*"In Globox´s quote, he says that rayman was "much nicer in Rayman 2"." Fair enough, but this should probably be grouped with the many other references to R1 and R2 in the dialogue. Keeping it for now.

*"The minigame "2D madness" references the first Rayman game." Why not, I've added the manual and 2D Nightmare but there's probably more.

*"The enemy "Armaguiddon" is a pun on "Armageddon"." Ditto.
*"In the level "Tower of leptys", there is a statue of kanaaren holding a boulder above his head, which is a reference to Sisyphus and his boulder, and Atlas that holds the world on his shoulders." Definitely Atlas, not Sisyphus.

*"It is highly likely that Céloche's design was inspired by that of the Martian tripod from H.G. Wells's classic science fiction novel, The War of the Worlds. == Xbox release date? ==
I've noticed that there are release dates for GameCube, PC and PS2, but I don't see Xbox listed under release dates. Was it just simply the same as PC and PS2, or is it unknown? -- 06:01, 20 January 2021 (CET)
:Well, according to Wikipedia, the Xbox release was the same as PS2. It's weird that the Xbox release is not mentioned in the infobox, I guess it was just a mistake. --Elite Piranha 06:42, 20 January 2021 (CET)

Revision as of 06:42, 20 January 2021

http://www.neoseeker.com/Games/Products/PC/rayman3/concept_art.html Could someone put these big, heavy images into the article? --iHeckler9Life.gif 16:27, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

All those images look small to me. Is there a joke I'm missing here? —Spiraldoor IconSpiralDoor.png 17:59, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Well, it was a joke, but if you're being serious, have you tried clicking on them? --iHeckler9Life.gif 18:02, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
The enlarged versions are still small. I don't get it. In any case it would obviously be better to add the images to the relevant pages rather than lumping them all into the Rayman 3 article. —Spiraldoor IconSpiralDoor.png 18:07, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
I'll make a start, but I only know where some of them should go. --iHeckler9Life.gif 06:43, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Dates

I think the 3rd of March 2003 was the UK release date of the PS2 version, the Gamecube version was released a month earlier; that's about all I remember. --Cairnie 18:55, 16 February 2012 (CET)

That's why I came to the discussion page... not sure when exactly the GameCube version came out, but it was definitely about a month before the others. —RRRGBAIcon8.pngRRRGBAIcon0.gifRRRGBAIcon1.png 15:24, 22 February 2012 (CET)
According to Gamefly, the GameCube version was released on 12th March 2003,[1] and the PS2 and Xbox versions were released on the 20th of the same month.[2][3]
IGN claims that the GameCube and Game Boy Advance versions were released on the 4th of March.[4]
I'm not sure what to make of the 3rd/4th discrepancy. Maybe it has something to do with regions. —Spiraldoor IconSpiralDoor.png 16:50, 22 February 2012 (CET)

Dan Cache

http://www.unseen64.net/wp-content/gallery/rayman-3/ I found a bunch of Rayman 3 beta pictures, but I'm having trouble uploading them. This keeps happening:

 • Could not open lock file for "mwstore://local-backend/local-public/9/9b".
 • Could not open lock file for "mwstore://local-backend/local-public/9/9b/imagenameherpaderpderp.jpg"."

What's happening, and, if it's serious, could someone upload them instead? --iHeckler9Life.gif 18:30, 10 July 2013 (CEST)

Did you try actually saving them onto your computer first? --Cairnie (talk) 22:05, 10 July 2013 (CEST)
Yes. --iHeckler9Life.gif 14:26, 11 July 2013 (CEST)
OK I tried a different image and it's definitely not just these Unseen64 ones, it's affecting the uploading of images entirely. --Cairnie (talk) 17:17, 11 July 2013 (CEST)
Awesome images! Can you please try again now? —RRRGBAIcon8.pngRRRGBAIcon0.gifRRRGBAIcon1.png 15:26, 15 July 2013 (CEST)
I tried, it still doesn't work. --iHeckler9Life.gif 21:06, 15 July 2013 (CEST)
