I think they called it the Mystic Mesa for two reasons:Droolie wrote: Sat Jul 25, 2026 6:01 am By the way, seeing this footage I'm just wondering why this place is called Mystic Mesa now? It doesn't seem very fitting to me. It's a mexican food & mexican party/dia de los muertos themed world, so "mystic" really is the last word that would come to mind for me. It feels like the writing team or whoever came up with this name either wanted to make an entirely different game or had no idea of what this world actually contains.- 1: Since all the worlds in Legends are being treated as proper locations in Retold rather than just paintings, they had to come up with names for them that sounded like real areas. When you think about it, "Fiesta de los Muertos" isn't really a location, is it?
- 2: I imagine they're trying to make these worlds fit in with the rest of Rayman's world now, so they wanted to give them all names that have a similar feel to those of previous locations. It might not fit the world the best, but in a Glade with places like the Marshes of Awakening and the Land of the Livid Dead, a name like "Mystic Mesa" sounds like it belongs there, doesn't it?

< has always liked Jack Daniel's, so maybe it wasn't too big of a surprise. What < did try was the apple version, which is surprisingly good. Jack Daniel's saved the conference, he can rest happy in his grave.
< is so tired that even the idea of sleeping feels too exhausting. < feels like < has been run over by 50 trucks. < fears this might already be a consequence of getting older.

Yay, the most wonderful time of the year again!

Unfortunately I can only make it a couple of those days. I'll try to stop by!

Yeah, this is exactly my opinion too. It's quite random which makes it funny at first - definitely a memorable point of the game too - but those levels are not fun to replay.RayGamer99 wrote: Fri Jul 24, 2026 8:45 pmThe idea is funny and they're overall inoffensive since you only spend two levels as a duck, but controlling them always felt like a real pace breaker and one of Legends's lower points in my opinion.

(My apologies to the writers, but in fact this sounds a lot like a world name ChatGPT would come up with...)

I think it would most likely that once you buy Retold, a separate icone for Origins Enhanced Edition will appear on your console menu...depending on which though. I could be talking outta my head though...rxohehe wrote: Sat Jul 25, 2026 1:17 am
I'd doubt they'd be able to do that since Retold was made in a separate game engine and not made in Ubiart Framework, It's a matter of time if they decide to make an in-game launcher for Retold which includes Origins Enhanced Editionhoodlumsworld wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2026 7:00 pm I wonder why it was made a separate game and not include like Back to Origins was in the OG Legends.

Armored Toad too.. I think most if not all bosses are going to have purple eyes throughout the whole gameHazBlackSlick wrote: Sat Jul 25, 2026 12:27 am Did anyone notice that El Luchador had that possessed purple eyes? Screenshot 2026-07-25 112534.png
