- Re: Rayman Legends Retold
-

Now that I think about it, it's true that treating the original Legends as just a goofy dream sequence was the perfect excuse for all the medieval tropes and real world parodies. By giving Retold a serious narrative and grounding it with a new map, it completely canonizes the generic fantasy stuff over the weird, alien mystery of the older games.
I already hated the Generilla design, but permanently shifting the tone of the whole universe is an even bigger pill to swallow.

The map is beautiful, even it doesn't make a lot of sense.

By the way, here is some gameplay for a couple more invaded levels:

Hi everyone,
Just to notify all of you, there are some big updates coming soon-ish.
1. The RayTunes site has now been updated.
2. Some soundtracks will be updated after this. That probably starts in a week. This includes:
This all means I'll have some work this summer vacation, but you'll see, it's all definitely worth it.
And that also means I'll get into ripping again, and who knows, I might just find a way to rip the RRR2, RRRTVP and RGH soundtracks. No promises though.
And as for the Rayman Origins soundtrack... I'm going to try to rip that before it's even out.
Again, no promises, but I won't give up easily on that one, because, well... I really want that version of the Tetris theme. XD

2. Some soundtracks will be updated after this. That probably starts in a week. This includes:
- the new, better and more complete Rayman 1 soundtrack
- the Rayman 1 jaguar music (finally!), ripped by L.M. Murphy

- the better, more complete Rayman 2 soundtrack by Infernus
- some extra songs for the Rayman M/Arena soundtrack (mainly from the GC version of Rayman Arena) and perhaps a complete re-rip of this
- the Tonic Trouble soundtrack, even though that's not Rayman
- The FLAC version of the new Rayman 1 soundtrack
- FLAC version of the Rayman 2 soundtrack by Infernus
- FLAC version of the new Rayman M/Arena soundtrack
- FLAC version of the new RRR soundtrack (already have some wav files ready)
- FLAC version of the Revolution soundtrack (already have all the wav files ready, but maybe I'll just re-rip this since I've found a better and faster way to rip)
