Re: What phone do you have?
Well, at least you have something! :confus:

Re: What phone do you have?
My phone died on me and stores are closed because of the outbreak so I'm currently stuck with a prehistorical artifact that would make a cheap burner phone look like the latest iPhone on the market.

Re: What phone do you have?
Right now I'm using a Motorola G6 Play, and I gotta say, I love the heck out of it. Been with me for more than a year now, and I have no problems with it. Before this I had a G4 Play for 3 years I think, but I switched to this one, because it had way too little RAM. The only thing I wish was different with the current one is the size of the phone, I don't like that it barely fits in some of my pockets, and is just awkward to hold. I swear if I didn't need to use internet and stuff for school, I would change to something like the light phone 2, but for now, I guess I'll stick with it.

Re: Names in other languages?
Thanks to the suggestion of PluMGMK, I managed to get UPlay to work on linux with lutris, so I booted up Origins, and I gotta say, it works insanely good. As for the topic, indeed, it is translated entirely into hungarian,. Only played the first two levels, but it seems like the translation is rather well done, and most things are translated to mean literally the same thing (names of levels, etc.) I have a few example, but I don't know yet if there is an actual way to get all the texts from the game files, or not.

electoon -> pöttyencs, which means something like a little spot, but in a super-very-cute way. "Pötty" means a tiny spot, and the "-encs" ending is what makes it means something really tiny and cute, it's not used that often in everyday situations
lum -> szikrancs, which means something like a spark, but once again, like a very tiny, cute spark
The Glade of Dreams -> Álomerdő, which means "Dreamforest"
The Snoring Tree -> A Horkoló Fa, which is lterally the same, and this goes for most of the levels, as far as I can tell

Rayman kept his name, as he did in Rayman M, and I'm not sure about the other characters, as I don't know if there is a way to actually check their names in-game, do tell me if there is.

Re: What phone do you have?
Keeping with the Motorola tradition I'm currently using a Moto G6 plus and have been since last year. Next year is going to be a bit awkward because of the current situation with Carphone Warehouse but eh.

Re: Names in other languages?
Geez, blind as usual...
Well sorry, and thank you!

Re: Names in other languages?
It's already been added to the same folder :)

I moved them all to a single folder: ... sp=sharing
Hello RayCarrot!

Since Rayman Mini has been updated a few days ago, could you please share the 1.2.0 script?
I would like to use it to check some information, like the French descriptions of the new characters.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Rayman Origins
So I was just playing the first level of Origins and a strange glitch occurred. During the Betilla chase, the Darktoon got stuck on a Nenuphar and I accidentally outran it. It stayed there and never made it to the green toothed cave.

It wouldn't let me attach a video so I just posted it to YouTube:

I have no idea what triggered this glitch. I know it means basically nothing but I thought I might as well share.

I'm surprised to see that the Zombie Chicken is with the "good guys".
Woah, I didn't even notice that detail! :paranormal: And even though it's likely that this information is still wrong and was put there by mistake, I still like to think in the back of my head that it's somewhat canon
Well, the Zombie Chickens (as well as Globox, Ly and the Teensies) were impacted negatively by the actions of the Robo-Pirates and are not allied with them, however because they've been corrupted, they also attack Rayman.

Tue Nov 15, 2016 4:10 am:
Rémi Gazel, who composed most of the music from the original Rayman, just launched a Kickstarter campaign for 50,000€ to fund the recording of an album containing 12 songs from his compositions for that game. This new album would of course be available as a digital and CD version but their wish is also to produce a vinyl collector album.
Should backings exceed a second threshold of 115,000€, Rémi's intention is to invite Pixelophonia, a symphonic orchestra dedicated to video game music, to join in.
You can access the Kickstarter campaign and participate by clicking here.

On August 8th 2003, Pirate-Community was created for all Rayman fans to share their interest and to aggregate the best content about the series. Thirteen years later, we're on the verge of updating the website to a brand new version, with many great features and changes for the community to enjoy. Rayman Adventures is still being updated and played by many fans, new records are reached in Rayman 3, and hope is not lost for a new Rayman game. While the number of messages posted last year, 105,979, for a grand total of 1,155,132, is far from our record, it is still higher than the previous year and we have a good number of active members. RayWiki, available in seven languages, now contains a total of 4479 articles, 130 more than a year ago. RayTunes, now ten years old, is nearly complete, thanks to the many soundtracks added last year: Tonic Trouble (PC version and GBC), Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Adventures.

So, stay tuned for the upcoming updates, long live Rayman, long live Pirate-Community!

RayTunes is nearly 10 years old! It's been a while since the last update, but the music collection on this page is nearly complete - especially with this latest update which includes not one but three new soundtracks.
The first new soundtrack is the long-awaited Tonic Trouble soundtrack (PC version). The soundtrack from the GBC version of the game was also added to the collection, thanks to L.M. Murphy.
Music from Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Adventures was also added to the Rayman Mobile soundtracks section.
A rip of additional music from the Rayman 3 early preview disc is also in progress. Apart from that, we may also add music from the educative games in the future. You can check the forum here for news.
